here's a thought. two situations same hand. the first situation. your sat at a loose cash table. 46% of players to the flop. your buy in is 2 dollars on a 2/5 cent blind table. so your on the big blind with king 4. 4 people have limped into this pot. utg+1 has called two people in mid position. and one on the button. flop come's down 7 of clubs 9 of hearts king of spades. utg plus one makes a pot size raise.and everyone calls.you look down at your k 4 off suit. do you.... call and see a turn that you will be scared of. raise see where you are in the hand. or fold.

and the same hand same flop in a tournament. same positions everyone limped
tell me what you think. usually i fold this spot. and most times i can remember someone shows down a drawn hand. that due to the nature of that player's loose ness. they werent going to lay down once everyone had made that pot sized call. and of course someone just as easily flips k10
tell me your thoughts. x

I don't know if I would have made the right play here, but i wouldn't have limped, even if i am on the button. When a couple of players in mid position are in the hand, i dont like to try to abuse the power of the button. If just one person was in there, i would wonder why they limped in middle position and not raised. I would assume they have a very decent starting hand, and didn't want to scare people by betting in a position where you must have a good hand to play.

But, I am the farthest thing from the person you want answering this post, just sayin what I would do..

He wasn't on the button, he was on the big blind...and i guess the right thing to do is to just fold this hand in cash. In tourneys it depends on the stage, but I'd still most probably fold it.
