the best way to build a bankroll with any amount is to double or triple it without investing anything. freerolls are the perfect kind of tournament for that. if you have achieved this, you may not be disappointed with the complete zeroing of your Luggage

For me personally, $ 10 is one of the CIS 1. Nothing complicated.

I will say my opinion also.
When my bankroll was 0 and deposited 10€ on pokerstars I didn't have the patience to play the lower stakes.
Because I have some experience in HU I played 1.50$ 4players HU with the first win of 5.60$ if I remember correctly.
If I was doing well then jumped to 3.50$ HU for a 13something$.
That's is my best way of building a bankroll.

I think low stakes Sit-n-Go is a great option. The games tend to be softer.

If this $10 is the only $10 you can ever have on a poker site then play the smallest stake MTT/SNG offered on your site and just grind those to build your bankroll. If you have funds to deposit more just drop $50 and play some 2NL while investing in some tracking software and study the game.
I also agree with this, but with $ 10 it's very hard and tedious to raise the bankroll, it is easier to replenish the account by $ 50, and start playing slowly. I base myself on my own examples, when the bankroll is $ 100, it's easier to play, and there are fewer restrictions in games, wider range of games and tournaments.

And I've often tried to build a banckroll starting at $ 10, but I've often failed. Sometimes theory can help you a lot, but if you're not lucky ... you often fail.

If I began again building my bankroll starting with a deposit of 10$ only , ofcourse the first thing I would have to think are the freerolls . I think freerolls are really the most important , and not only to beginners but to all players , sth I didn't know when I started my online poker games .

Then I would think in what games I am better , cash games or sng's , personally , for the time being , cash games , especially zoom 5nl . Tournaments are way too difficult , at least for me , I can see nowadays my difficulty at playing them , even the sats (but I don't give up:D) , so I don't recommend them for bankroll building :)

I would recommend for you to play 2nl, 0.1 SNG, and max 0.5 STT.
It's still an aggressive bankroll but you should start with these.

Personally the way I'm trying to build my roll is through 9man SNG's

Started with $.50 turbo's moved up to $1.50 turb'os when I got to $15

I intend to move up to move up to $3.50 turbos at $50 roll

$7 turbo's at a roll of $100 then $15 turbos at a roll of $200 and so on.

To easy too move up to quickly, a few bad beats and your whole roll is gone!

I personally find mych less variance playing the 9man Turbo's - but I appreciate everyone should play their own game and choose their own route to achieve the goal.

As someone with experience raising my ACR bankroll from $0 to $5k USD, this is what I did.

Play all freerolls. It's free money.
There is a leaderboard for the $10 freerolls on ACR. Top 10 get a $55 satty to the $1k cage. I've gotten into the $1k cage twice; no cash the first time, but a 3.8k score the second time.
Top 1 on the leaderboard also gets $215 Sunday Ticket, usually for the 50k GTD they have later on Sunday. I never cashed on those.

When it comes to buying into tournaments, follow some simple bankroll management rules.
When you have 100x the buyin, you can buy in.
When you have 5x the GTD, it's not worth buying in.
If the GTD to buy in ratio is less than 150, it's not worth buying in.

Happy hunting.

Play those 55c sngs

If you play at ACR you must know that they have those 25.00 sngs for 55c. You could play 18 times on ten dollars.

Well is that $10 the only money you will have for a long time. If so I would play small buy in SNG's. They have less variance than tourneys and can still lead to a nice profit. Cash games are nice as well, but if you are newish to poker it's a lot easier to blow through that small bankroll. If the $10 is not the only money.... just go for it. take a chance on maybe 2 $5 sit and goes or site in a cash game with it and just see what happens. With $10 there isn't a lot you can do that's worth your time unless you stick it all in.
