Personally, I try to save a small amount of playing freerolls or minimum bids, and then try to play with the money. Of course, if you allow the level of your game, you can invest a little to get more income.
I was taught that you shouldn't never have more than 5% of your bankroll invested into any single tournament or cash game to better your chances from going broke
I dont invest money monthly but i am trying depositing from time to time, but only small deposits, like 5-8 dollars)))
I always play in the freerolls at various poker rooms, and when that is winning, the money I go to the cash games. So I'm not worried that I could lose my bankroll.
I stopped investing. I have started to play freerolls and once I get some money out of it I withdraw 10 dollars and the rest re-invest in other tournaments.
I already managed to get to $ 100 of bankroll without depositing anything ... but as I am very fish / Donkey and sometimes I drink an alcohol and I go into tilt very easily and often went to zero again, I think solid poker is the Who can make money without spending anything
When I lose 3 entry in the day without Tilt, I stop playing and I continue the next day.
The most important thing is to recognize that it is a bad day and resume cool the next.
Ive yet to invest a single dime in it. I kind of want to build up from winning in freerolls.
I stuggle with this. Sometimes when I get a bad beat I'll go straight into another tournament and go crashing out due to overly aggressive play. It's self-defeating.
Walking away is definitely the best strategy in that situation.
$20/month tops, as I am new to playing poker competitively.
