well I looked at the hand and wow I would love to play you, he had a pair of jacks, there is no paint cards on the board after the flop, if this is the best you can do in disbelief give me a break bro, you had sneaky trips, I love that hand, it really pays off, but dont blame the guy for going all in, you just got a lucky flop, now had there been an ace or king or even a queen on the flop, then I would give you credit, you flop trip 5's, and won the pot, but geez come up with something better than this, it would have much more respect. oh and good hand by the way.

PS: there is a cards chat player that said, there are only 3 ways to play jacks, one way, 2 ways or no way. Jacks are the worst hand to play, people see paint and get all excited, then the next thing you know, you lose, I hate jacks, I even hate when a jack flops on the board.

when you said you shook your head in disbelief, i thought that you took money from a real donk. But actually, i didnt think that what he did was that bad. You ended up getting lucky when you hit that flop. He had jacks and there werent any overcards on the board. I would definitely think i had the best hand if i had jacks with a board like that

Wow, that's funny. You guys do realize that his was a cash game, right? Did you see the size of the pot vs the size of the shove. His shove was 9x the pot size.

Why go all in? For that much you are only going to get called by a better hand. Someone please give me ONE good reason to shove 9x the pot here. If he was trying to protect his hand a pot size bet would have done the same thing. I can't believe some of you think this was a good play.

This player was terrible. I ended up winning 3 full buy ins off of him.

If you any of you guys bet 9x the pot in a cash game with one pair please stop by my table anytime. ;)

my bad, of course you're gonna call...i just noticed it was after the flop where he shoved. Still you just got lucky on the flop, If a jack hit, you'd be saying What bs instead of what a gift. Calling a raise w/small pair...I guess it was micro. Standard

You called 9x pot with bottom set, a possible straight and a flush draw on the board. It was a gutsy call, but if he turned up 68 of clubs, or a bigger set, you'd be kicking yourself into next week. Going all-in there was not the best play there, but it wasn't indefensible either. It was overly agressive, and it worked out poorly - but the other player doesn't deserve your derision.

Errrrr you stacked some dude with an overpair when you flopped a set. On nl$20, on cake. Really brag worthy stuff.

Love the flop shove though :)
