Title says it all really. I came across the term in this context...

Yeti Theorem - A flop three bet on a dry (preferably paired) board is always a bluff.

As I understand the theorem, it means that if the flop comes something like T77 and someone bets, someones raises and is follwed by a third raise, the last one is a bluff. Maybe?

If I got that wrong, I'd be happy for an explanation but either way, what is a 'dry board' ?

A dry board is a board that's unlikely to have hit your opponents range.

A dry board is a flop that does not have a lot of draws a flop like q72 with three different suits is basically a Sahara desert board and a flop of 10jq with two or three cards of one suit is the ocean.

Speaking from experience id say the third raise probably has a 7 in his hand to be fair

It usually follows the bet is a bluff, the raise has the 10 and the re-raise has the 7. Or something like that.

As for Yeti Theorem this probably used to be the case, until people starting picking it up. Now once you bet onto a dry flop people think it's a bluff and re-raise you. Conversely, if you check (or check-raise) and dry flop people will put you on the nuts. To counter this the pro's usually bet on a dry flop with the nuts to incude a re-raise.
In the UK on tuesday we have a show on 5, Wednesday night. Toby Lewis flopped quad queens on a QQ9 (dry) flop, and after being donk bet into, he raised!
He was trying to make it look like a complete bluff but instead had the nuts.
