wow just moved into my place and im getting 38 mega bytes per second, lol holy wow thinks its safe to say I will not have any lag issues on poker sites now hopefully.

Indeed. I switched provides a while back and went from 25 to 50 meg. I didn't notice a difference at all. I don't do any serious pc gaming (I don't think online poker is considered serious gaming) - maybe if I did, I would notice the diff. But for my level of browsing, no diff.

You need a great connection to play poker?? I used to steal my internet from a neighbor across the street and didn't have much of a problem lol.

Good for you man!

TBH though, you will never see 38MB connection. Maybe half that if you are lucky. Anything over 20MB is overkill for just about everything.

And stealing your neighbours internetz . . . Shocking. I had a neighbour try that, looked at my server and realised there was 5 machines connected when we only have 2 . . .Mother******s

Hey man, I would suggest starting your own thread for advice on how to improve.

We have a cash game section https://www.cardschat.com/forum/cash-games-11/

And a tournament one https://www.cardschat.com/forum/tournament-poker-59/

I would recommend starting your thread in either of these areas, dependant upon what game type you play (cash/tournaments). Just give yourself a little introduction thread and ask away!

LOL stealing the next door neighbors connection, just imagine your in the game of your life, your in the top 10 on the final table and your are the chip leader and for sure to cash in, and BAM next door neighbor on his way out for dinner accidentally trips over modem and does not realize it and internet gets disconnected, oh nooooooozzz. LOL.
