Well California just took another hit

Well California came out with a bill to legalize online poker, but it was shot down thanks to the indian tribes saying oh boo hoo, we are not ready and you cannot legalize it because it would give us an unfair advantage to catch up to the other casinos, what a crock of shiit, now they will not revisit the online poker bills till next year.

Did you really think it was going to pass?

The bill would have been terrible for players. It included provisions that would have imposed criminal liability on players that play on unlicensed sites. It also would have prohibited CA residents from playing in a nationwide or international pool post-federal legislation. As a CA resident, I am glad it failed miserably. We need to get behind a federal bill.
