I really don't understand why everybody doesn't love this game it's smart it's cards its redemption it's twisted I just want the United States to really embrace this and a big step is going to be ensuring that people are not being cheated the problem with that is any time anyone gets a badd beat it is gonna seem as if they're getting cheated and people spit poison and down play the game it has to blow up here like fantasy football.

it's all politics for example here in ky, the democrats have been trying for the last ten years to bring casinos and poker rooms like at the horse tracks but repubs shoot it down everytime under the guise of religion yet continue to support horse gambling and the lottery. since our surrounding states all have casinos i'm betting they have backdoor deals. there was also some sort of lawsuit here vs pokerstars and fulltilt. i'll never understand it, i'd be for letting everyone play online everywhere just not deposit. have everyone earn points or coins that can be exchanged for tickets or cash that can be used for mtts or sngs.

With Trump's extensive experience in casino management, I think the future of online poker certainly looks bright there.

I strongly suspect we will see improvements in online gaming regulation during Trump's second term. He will have more authority to implement his policies without interference.

With all of these bots being discovered. In an era where not 1 game that you play in is fair (they all have bots) consider yourself lucky its not banned in your country.

What we are seeing now from some rooms is crazy. They are citing their terms and conditions in order to not pay people. For example 1) They say that you played in a few freerolls so you "abused" a bonus or promotion and wont allow you to cash out because its not your money.
2) we can terminate any account at any time and do not have to provide a reason.

This is going to be the next big thing we start to see. I predicted a massive influx in bots both 5 years ago and within the last year and it was true. Remember this post you heard it here first.

Thats about the only way we will ever see it legal is with dem president and both house and senate controlled. Which is very possible come 2020
Trump will never legalize it as hes a failed casino man who im sure has also had his buddies lobby to keep it from being legal.

Im with you tho and ill never understand why it isnt legal

Huh? Trump failed miserably at casino management.

It's time to shine already came and went, it's sad that banks can basically steal from everyone and nothing happens a few bad outlier's and no more big poker sites. Basically our corrupt government didn't get their cut and that is why it is gone. Sad to say, but U.S. government is way more corrupt than you would think.

I agree and want to see it legal also. I see it as a sport a competition you pay to enter.

I look forward to the day where I can play at any online poker site from home. I read about all of these promotions that other sites, such as poker stars, offers and it makes me when to get a stake of the action.

Dumbest shit I have ever read.
Why didn't Obama and his dem controlled senate and house make it legal then?
April 15th 2011 - poker black friday - who was the president then? Who was in charge of both the house and the senate?

Legal online poker is probably the biggest issue among U.S. poker players. I think it will happen in a decade or so, as soon as the remaining baby-boomers "retire" and a new era of thinking is implemented on a federal level. It's just a matter of time. :proud:

I don’t believe that every site has bots I believe a lot of collusion and house players who play for the site but acr is mainly bots and now it let u put u live where ever u like so it’s even harder to tell bots from real people unless u know how a bot would play situationally wghicj I got pretty good st so I would worry more about people playing together and then the house teams

Yes I agree with you if they have poker rooms in casinos in different states they should have an online gambling site as well I don't understand why they took everything away I can't say why all this occurred but I tell you one thing I do miss PokerStars in full tilt

Exactly.....

Please take a look back first 2 years Obama only had senate Not both, Research it. almost all repubs have openly spoke out about NOT legalizing it. First 2 years of office you dont think he had enough to fix with what Bush did to us?

Congress is comprised of the House of Representatives and the Senate. To “Control Congress,” you would need to control both the House and the Senate.
President Obama was sworn into office on January 20, 2009. Let’s look at Congress for the 8 years that President Obama was in office:
From January 3, 2009 to January 3, 2011, Democrats controlled both the Senate and the House.
From January 3, 2011 to January 3, 2013, Democrats controlled the Senate and Republicans controlled the House.
From January 3, 2013 to January 3, 2015, Democrats controlled the Senate and Republicans controlled the House.
From January 3, 2015 to January 3, 2017, Republicans controlled both the Senate and the House.

Im a middle of the fencer but repubs have and will stay against legalizing online poker. I wish we could get them to support it but its not going to happen.

It's so unfortunate how slowly things are moving regarding online poker in the States. And yes, it seems to be political. With everything the republicans do, I don't understand how people still vote for them. I mean there are 3-4 states where it is legal, but things are moving so slowly in the rest of the country. Anyway, glad to be Canadian.
