I learned quite a bit online sites. But I think that is not enough to know a lot of luck to the poker. Many times I lost a pair of AA or KK.
Shit happens. I lost 10 biy-ins last month after getting it in good every time with two exceptions: made a Full that ran into quads, and a flopped flush that ran into a K-high flush, and even then I wasn't completely dead since I could have beat the quads by catching a higher card, and with the flush I was open on both ends for the straight flush. Every other time I GII good and some fish would make some horrendous call and bink on the river. There's
nothing you can do about that other than stay off tilt and not blow off even more. This month, it's come back time. Make +EV plays, and you will eventually come out ahead.
As for your complaint about losing with AA or KK, are you
sure you're not making the classic mistake of over playing these
hands? It's nice to start off with pocket aces or kings; it's wonderful to start off with AK and see an ace or king on the flop. However, certain flops can turn these hands into very marginal holdings. Start with pocket cowboys, ace hits, and the vill doesn't seem to want to co-operate and let you keep that pot small, but indicates he wants to play for stacks. Do you accommodate him, or let the hand go?
Aces, kings, TPTK aren't a "till death do us part" proposition, and you can't marry them. If you think you're beat, into the muck they go. It's fish who can't turn a big hand like that loose once it's obvious they're beat.
If you're certain you're not making that mistake, and are satisfied you made the right play, the +EV play, then that's it. Suck it up, stay off tilt, make the right play regardless of outcome, and you
will get their money. Sometimes, you just have to wait until they empty their Luck Boxes.
