Now, I know people say there aren't tells for online poker, but in truth there are a few.

A good way to eliminate this is by keeping your time that you bet to a constant. Say like 5 seconds and bet. Keep consistenly doing this, and it makes it hard to read your response time. Makes it easier on you to bluff and so on, pending on your table image.

Anyone else have suggestions to improve your online presence?:icon_stud

The clicking the buttons thing. I think choosing a bet amount as opposed to just clicking the bet pot or minimum raise button looks more serious. If you just click, you appear a bit lazy. and really, I think you probably are.

i think that if u dont just limp in all the time is good... tend to switch up on raising and limping in with rags or with a good starting hand...also dont always slow play if u got them play them..it makes it easier to bluff, but dont be too aggressive

In addition to playing each hand the same way, every so often I like to intentionally throw out a tell. This will often times suck in the people that are paying attention. Guess they figure they can capitalize on the one or two times they see my response times change.

Also, I will not use the play in turn buttons provided by any site. I will make my decision and click the appropriate button when it is my turn.

Finally, if I am betting or raising, I always type my dollar amounts. I do this because I base my bets on several factors. One of the several is that it needs to be a proper/reasonable amount. I mean how many times have you seen some moron bet $3000 into a $50 pot? What the hell is that retard thinking?

Anyway. Enough of my strategy. Can't give it all up. ;-)

I also try not to use the preseled buttons, but for completely different reasons. You are seiitng ther and thinking I dont have much but Ill donate a minimum bet to see the blind. Then you move your mouse to the call button and click, just as someome raised or went in and ther you are all in with a 10 9. Just wait then select. Its safer.
