A few years ago wass a tv show here in my country (Romania) about poker , 5 celebrities and a professional poker player (Toni Judet ,wass in PS Team),Toni Judet coach them and then played for fun.Thats the only time when i watch poker on tv,now in these days only watch at internet, live streams .
Not really nowadays, and they can't even show poker programs (with company logos or anything like that) in finland anymore. Occasionally watch hand or two I've heard about from YouTube, but that's about all. Like to read about tournaments from poker forums though.
Hi there, Panama. NBCSP broadcasts a lot of late night poker. Here's a list of some channels and what poker orgs. they broadcast. GSN (Poker Royale), ROOTD (miscellaneous), BRAVO (Celebrity Poker), ESPN (world series of poker), and the Travel channel (World Poker Tour). Hope this helps.
Many players streaming in twitch now, you can watch http://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/Poker, you can find very more good interesting.... Also in 2+2 you can view a list of streamers..
A long time ago in my country ( Croatia ) there was broadcasting every night but they stoped. Now I watch online. Found link and watch. I totaly forgot about pokerstars tv. I will watch there from now.
Youtube or Pokertube seems to be the best channels for watching poker nowadays. I typically search for final tables that were streamed, such as a few HPTs, WSOPC Main Events, and I'm an avid fan of the EPT and PCA episodes on the PokerStars channel.
Pokertube and Twitch now are great online resources if you wanna watch some poker and maybe learn a couple things here or there . The live streamers can be really informative if you catch the right streams . I think the streaming platform will continue to become more and more popular as it creates a great interaction between player and audience .
I an't recomend a channel but I can say that nowadays you can watch poker on pokertube , I always use ept main page or pokerstars mainpage, you can watch every EPT replay, even final tables with cards up.
Twitch is where it's at for watching poker. There are several big names playing there on delay, but my favorite is Canadian Jamie Staples. Jaime plays tournaments; commenting on his hands and actions, all the while interacting with his large audience.
i dont think it's broadcasted on tv anymore, at least in my country it isnt.
we used to have Late night poker on different channels, but for the last 2 years orso i havent seen any of them anymore on the tv
it's a shame really, I Always enjoyed wathcing them whilst playing poker
I saw it on tv last week. I can't remember the name of the show (or even if it was a recent event). I do know this though. Its not fun to watch. Only thing more boring than playing poker is watching it on tv.
