[FONT=Roboto, arial, sans-serif]What is short deck NLHE? Think regular Texas Hold'em, except each 2, 3, 4, and 5 is removed from the deck. There are differences in some of the hand rankings as well depending on where you play. For example, in these games, three of a kind beats a straight, and a flush beats a full house, considering each of the former are less likely in short deck than the latter.

Maybe it was seeing some fan favorites at the table we don't see too often like Dwan, Ivey, or Jungleman, but I loved discovering and learning short deck no-limit hold'em for the first time watching these guys play high stakes. All it made me want to do was get a game going, but nobody offers this variant online. Understandably so, since it isn't that popular, but as more and more people discover it in the east, I believe it's popularity in North America will rise soon as well. What does everyone else think about this game in general and it's future? I'd love to know.
