The hand came to be 47k55Q no flushes. I had 7k suited, and he had aces. It said that he had the higher two pair and therefore won the pot. Is that right?

Yes, AA55 is a better hand than KK77.

No limit holdem is all about making the best 5 card hand

Well think about it, two pairs Aces and fives beats two pairs Kings and sevens. Isn't it logic? But i dont understand, the hand was 4-7-K-5-5-Q, 6 cards? lol

I think the bigger question is why there are 6 community cards

LOL I didn't even catch the 6 card board. Hope that was a typo, if not the OP really needs to revisit the fundamental concepts of hold'em and poker in general before investing a lot more money in the game.

Good observation Tony I felt real small when I finally seen there was 6 community cards and you had to point it out after 30 years of playing this game maybe I am going blind lol
