This is a pretty general question to get some feel for what people experience at ring games or what people note for their own play:

What is a common value for VP$IP for a tight-aggressive player playing at a mixed 9-10 plyr table (tightagg and looseagg)?

Now, what would be the general difference for the value of VP$IP for a loose aggressive player same circumstances?

If this question is too vague or doesn't cover enough parameters let me know.

Thanks for the input,
A

<12 = Very tight
12-20 = Tight/Normal
20-28 = Loose
> 28 = Very Loose

For FR I wouldn't classify 12 as very tight, in fact it's probably on the loose end of the TAG players who profit. Basically most TAG players are ~8-14 I'd say, but otherwise I'd agree with the above list. Of course there are the EXTREME nits with VP$IPs below 5, but they are few and far between. I just think 12's a bit too high to be "very tight" and 20's a bit high to call "tight/normal". Anything really above ~15 is getting loose. Just know that VP$IP doesn't really determine winrate since a superior post-flop player may be correct in playing a wide range of hands just to outplay opponents postflop.
