Why is he so popular?
Conventionally, fans of poker are divided into two groups – fans can play with other people for one card table and poker fans as such. We emphasize that the division is conditional, why to take it as a rule we do not recommend. And fans of poker as such, today received a unique opportunity to play poker on the Internet or against the dealer or against other players who are on the other side of the monitor.

Can the virtual replace the real poker? It is noteworthy that for these players at the time were invented video poker machines (we are talking about virtual poker). In these machines complied with the principles of the game, but, of course, there are some differences – for example, the machine does not take into account the pair below tens and kickers. Given a living example – let's say a player rolls 2 pairs, and one of them will be more valuable than tens, in this case, even the two machine counts.

It should be noted that the virtual poker game can't replace a full game with real people, live dealer and the table with the green cloth, but in some cases, it is more accessible and interesting, compared to the actual version.

Also do not forget about the unique opportunity offered to the player to train before the real competition alone, only with his computer. However, virtual poker will never replace the real (and Vice versa).

My opinion

Computers start out with a basic set of instructions then add fields to the artificial intellengence and keeps adding numbers to a certain fields adding up so if the field with modular arithmetic is a certain number it acts according to a case statement. For example if the hole cards are this and the flop is that and the number is 13 then bet a different way. If the number is something else like a 4 it bets another way.

The only way they going to keep live poker is if the poker players live in the hotel they play at. You cant waist that much fuel. Worldometers.info will show the stats if you scroll down.

I think the secret of popularity of online poker compared to the classic - available. Now you can, anywhere you take your device and play poker, not bothered with the organization or search for the location of the game.

I enjoy both and think both will go on for a long time. One will never kill the other.

Both for Me

I like to play Hold'em LIVE and ONLINE.
Each week, a bunch of old guys like me get together and play live. We all live within 20 km of each other, so the distance is easy enough. A little cold in the winter time.
Also, I play live at casinos in canada and the USA - about 12 in all.
Online is for relaxation and when I have nothing else to do. Right now my online bankroll is $0.01 so it is freerolls only.

live poker is pure

Live poker is pure entertainment and social interaction as well as a means to an end. The net is great for taking that jones off for some action, but with a home game (or a casino) nothing beats human interaction. With friends or strangers the game brings its own social rules for engaging others or not. Poker room etiquette is often unspoken, but quickly learned.

Online and live poker are just different. Online you can play anytime from anywhere even without risking money due to freerolls available. Live requires more time and money and is much more pleasant. I think that both will excist for long time.

I honestly do not see that happening. I never see the wsop series moving on Line, live play for most is still the way to go. Granted thats not to say some will only play online (unless win a seat to the WSOP, WPT, HPT, ect)

Online poker is more accessible because some players do not have the opportunity to play live for one reason or another...

playing poker on the Internet is my only chance to grow in this.
The gambling zone is very far from me.
but perhaps online will give me a way to get offline if I can regularly earn good money.
both of these poker will live and not interfere with each other.
let's play poker.

I myself personally enjoy online poker over live poker as live I have shaky legs and no poker face so dont think with this combo combined my live game will ever go far. :)

I do not believe in the absolute that online poker can replace live poker, although very little I have played poker live, the few times I've played live poker I liked it and the game has been very enjoyable when you have your opponent face to face. However, you should not take away the merit of online poker because it gives you the opportunity to play great events without leaving home

I like both live and online TBH, and I hope that both will be around for a long time! They both have their positives and negatives, and are both the same game of poker, but I think they are still different enough to enjoy both.

It should be noted that a virtual game in poker cannot replace a full-fledged game with living people, the living dealer and at a table with green cloth, but, in certain cases, it is further more available and interesting, in comparison with the real version. Also you should not forget about the unique opportunity offered the player – to train before a real competition alone, only by means of the computer. At the same time, the virtual poker will never replace real (and vice versa).

it does not compare the comfort of online poker with respect to the other, and you can play whenever you want!

Hello.
I play poker online. I have little experience because I play only 5 months. But I think that playing live is much more difficult than online.

I play mostly online poker because I cannot play live near where I live.
But I will never play poker in virtual reality.
