Were taking a family trip down after the wsop and are mainly just using vegas as a stopover on the way to the Grand Canyon. I know which Hotels I prefer, but I clueless as to which my kids would enjoy the most.

Thanks in advance, guys....

Kids? How old?

Circus Circus is the old standby. Some of the others might be good for the swimming pools and waterpark features... but not much else for kids. Some of the older kids might go for PH or Hard Rock...

New York New York has/had an arcade game area that had a lot of youngsters runnin around it last time I was there. Been several years CA, so don't know if it's still there.

Our kids Loved Excalibur. Loads for kids to do plus great pool. But then they also loved Circus Circus and New York New York. I do not think you can go wrong with any of these.

Yeah - it's pretty cool - seen it, but I haven't stayed there. There's also the zip line on Freemont street, but it is so hot outside right now, I'm not sure you would want to stand in line to get to it.

Kids that young... Circus Circus. Lots of carnival type games with fluffy prizes.
Buffalo Bill's (Terribles Casino) has a huge roller coaster - but it's in Primm (about 30 min south of the strip).

Although others have attractions for kids, Circus Circus has to be the hands down choice.

They have the famous Carnival Midway which also includes an arcade. Next to the Midway is the Circus Stage which showcases free world class circus acts daily.

Adjacent to the property is the Adventuredome Theme Park. It includes rides for kids and adults, as well as games and other Circus Circus-exclusive attractions such as free clown shows.

Fairly new (opened Oct 2011) is the Chuck Jones Experience, a nearly 10,000 square-foot destination. At its entrance is the 1,000 square-foot glass-enclosed class room where creative art projects will be encouraged and guided by teachers Your first stop on the guided tour is the 1930's-style movie theater. There, you'll meet Chuck Jones via a short film and after, you'll walk down a virtual street surrounded by many of Jones' most memorable characters and a timeline of his extraordinary life, ending up in a re-creation of Jones' studio where he worked and discovered some of this most famous characters, like Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner and many more. From there you'll experience the characters in 3-D and learn more about how characters are developed while viewing some of the original drawings made by Jones' while discovering these characters. Move onto "Animation Alley" where a multimedia wall displays animation pieces from the permanant collection from the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity and other animation studio collections. You'll end the tour with a visit to the Acme Workshop where you can try your hand at creating sound effects and voiceovers for a Chuck Jones cartoons.

The hotel rates are a great value, and the rooms are surprisingly nice and large. They also give you a Resort Passport with over $150 in coupon savings for dining, The Adventuredome and more.

Good Luck

Was there with my kid about three years ago. The coaster was $18 a pop. Good thing I only have one kid. :)
Oh damn. I was in Vegas a few years ago. Stayed at the MGM with a view of NYNY, and the roller coaster. Never did go ride it, and I wish I would have (but I was too busy playing poker...lol).

Yes it was! How can it be 3 years ago already?? Hoping to be able to come out next year so we can hang! Or maybe the next time you're in San Francisco we can meet up.
