Went to both the Gamblers General Store on Main Street, and the Gamblers Book Club on 11th.

There were lots of titles that I had not seen anywhere else (some that I had), so of course I had to buy them.

Gamblers General Store purchases:

Winning in Tough Holdem Games, by Grudzien and Herzog
Your Worst Poker Enemy, by Schoonmaker
Bigger Deal, by Holden
The Perfect Play, (a novel) by Louise Wener
Broke, a poker novel, by Brandon Adams
Spread Limit Holdem, by G Ed Conly
The Greatest Book of Poker for Winners, by George Epstein
Poker Madness, by Kevin Kozar
Profiling Poker Nitwits, by G Ed Conly
The Railbird, by Rex Jones
Poker: Holdem, Book One, by Andy Nelson
Poker: Holdem, Intermediate, by Andy Nelson
Poker: Holdem, Advanced, by Andy Nelson
Beginner's Guide to Limit Holdem, by Byron Jacobs
When to Hold'em and When to Fold'em, by Barnes
Texas Hold'em Flop Types, by Mort Badizadegan

My Gamblers Book Club purchases are being shipped to me, as I didn't want to fill my luggage with books and get an overweight charge. It's a great deal, they are sending them via book rate, for only $5.19-- and, no tax since they are shipping them!

I did bring one back with me:

The Russ Bailey Guide to Limit Texas Hold'em Poker, by Dan Krier

I'll list the 14 others when they arrive. I guess I spent enough money there, as the owner gave me two copies of Omaha Holdem Poker by Bob Ciaffone for free!

Also, I met someone who claimed to be Steve Forte, author of "Read the Dealer", which changed the blackjack industry by forcing casinos to counter his advantage play by installing those "tech art" mirrors that the dealers no use to determine if they have an ace or ten as a down card.

Apparently he is pretty involved in attempting to get Kucinich elected. And he can talk. And talk. Oh, and talk. Nice guy though!

I just finished it. For advanced limit hold 'em players, this book is better than sex.

Almost.

I am telling Lori that you compared sex with her to reading a poker book lol.
