No way you can fold there, quads is such an unlikely hand that paying off there is the profitable play in the long run.

She played the flop too weak. If she had played the flop stronger, Baumann may have made it a lot more obvious what she was sitting on at the turn.

I like how she play the hand, i think that gaelle shove too quickly and that's why she want to fold but it was almost imposible

Unfortunately for Vanessa this is one of those hands that get you and there's not much she could've done differently. The fact that she almost found a fold is very impressive. Her analysis of the hand was spot on.

Gaelle didn't play the hand wrong at all. She timed her aggression perfectly.

My opinion is Selbst couldn't get away from it. Only the one hand beat her and it's unlucky she ran into it.

Selbst played it as well as one could...she knew that Baumann could only have one of two hands....one she beat; one she lost...just bad luck that it was the quads.
