Using cents in tourneys

Why do players use cents when betting ie 210.75

to throw people off get them thinking about the bet and not about the play u should be making. Most often tho its because they hit the bet "half pot" button and the pot is not evenly split in half so you are left with cents in the remainder

People bet odd amounts in many online tournaments because it makes the bet look bigger than it really is. This has a psychological effect on some players.

Most I poker networks Titan, william hill etc

I wouldn't read too much into it, they're either screwing with you or they do it and it holds no bearing on anything.
