Hey all i was wondering if some of you guys or gals have any used books are dvd's. That may be, you just might want to donate :icon_sant to other peeps on the web site. I know i would be willing to pay shipping for some books or dvd's that you don't read any more. That is for some that i haven't read already.:)

Hell we could even start a sticky thread for some thing like this. That is if there are enuff people that would be willing to do it. Just a thought. But if you would like to get ride of some of those you things you got shot me a pm.

Also sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

i got some books, but i`m not even willing to sell them.. I reread the many times since my memory is not that great.. somehow since i was little reading always gave me trouble remembering it. When i read i dont remember what i have read.. lol i gotta read something many times to really remember it. I mean i remember stuff but not to the extend that it will help me next week because next week i wont remember what i have read lol.. So sorry buddy but the books i have i need next to me because i constantly reread them... But there is bunch of other people here who have books and maybe they got better memory and they read it once and dont need it anymore? Will see....

I've just shoved a load on e.bay, the Devilfish book and Amarillo Slim's. Couple of strategy guides too. Pity I've only been a member a few days, coz I'd have been happy to let them go to another forum member. The only ones I've kept are Doyle Brunsons 1 and 2 (SERIOUSLY heavy reading but well worth the slog- i'm never parting with that!), and a few i've mail-ordered out of mag's. Keep an eye on e.bay, that'd be my best advice to pick up some of the older ones in particular.

As others have suggested, think eBay and its sister site, Half.com. Most of the more recent additions (last 5 years or so) to my library of poker books and poker DVD's were acquired there. (No, I'm not interested in selling any. :D ) If you are not familiar with eBay, I would offer one piece of advice. Once you locate something you want; for example, Harrington On Holdem; look the same item up on Amazon for price, with shipping. My rule is that I never buy the item on eBay unless I can save at least 25% over Amazon or similar source. You may also discover the item, used or new, linked to Amazon from one of their affiliate sellers.

You might also do a Google or Metacrawler search for "Online Used Bookstores". There are a lot of them out there and I have used them to locate and purchase many scarce or out-of-print books that I have wanted or needed.

As for the suggestion about a Classifieds section there is another recent thread on that very topic and the general consensus is that it's not going to happen.

Hope this helps.
