Hello, poker community. I haven't been active here for a long time, but now is the extremely important period in my life and the best place where I could get a piece of advice , in my opinion, is here. Experienced players and people, please take my question seriously.
Due to personal reasons, I urgently need to get $450 as fast as possible. A week or 2, maximum. It is not a big amount of money, I know, but the only way I think I can get it that quickly is playing poker.
I only have $200 dollars in my response to turn them into $650. Idk exactly how to make it . I don't consider grinding tournaments or cash games because the first are too unreliable and the second are too stressful. Therefore, I reckon sit n go's are the only option. If I could play $3.50s or $7s on pokerstars 6-8 hours a day, playing 4-9 tables at the same time, would I reach my goal within give deadline? Of course, assuming I am skilled enough. Or should I get back to cash games? Or shall I do something else, mb except poker?
It is pivotal for me to hear what'd you do if you were me guys. Thank you in advance.

Yah go for sports betting as it is less stressful and requires less time. You just need to be very informative.

Sorry, but if you have to ask, you're definitely not skilled enough to triple your investment in a week or two by playing poker. What you will do is lose the $200 that you already have. Nothing personal, I don't know you, it's just the reality.

Take Debi's advice if you are in need gambling is not the answer. You will chase losses quicker and end up tilting away your funds. No way you would play optimal at anything.

Ask a friend or a family member for help. Or find a small odd job to do 2 weeks is a lot of time to make the money you need.

I agree with Debi and Joe; don’t risk money you already have to make more money you need. You won’t play the same and can risk losing everything. Like joe suggested just find an odd job for the next week or two and make it that way.
Regardless of what you do, best of luck to you.

At the moment you have 200, and you want to be with 450, if you risk everything, you are likely to be at zero and very big because of the pressure you are in, get a job, and good luck, trust that everything will work out.

In fact you have now 200$ so you need only 250$ more. This is not big amount so it should be easy to either borrow the money from friends/family or quick loans service or find a job which gives you salary every day and not at the end of month and earn the cash.

Regarding poker 200$ bank means that you will need to play at lowest stakes cash games or tournaments with no more than 5$ buyin if you follow good bankroll management. Have you played at such stakes and if so are you playing successfully? Generally as already mentioned it is very bad idea to try to earn quickly money from gambling of any form. For 1 that manages to do it and have luck there are 99 people that go broke with such approach.

You will lost $200 within 2 hours by playing 3,50 sngs, no matter if you are skilled player or not. If you'd like to gamble go with sports betting, pick 2 team and put all your money in.

I don't think it's a good idea to try to make money using gambling games. It's a right way to lose your money. My attitude to this game is just making a fun and sport interest. If I invest some money one day it will be considered as just ability to play, to take a part in the tournament. Not more.

Some good advice above! Never gamble money you cant afford to lose. When you are gambling to make due. Lady Luck is going to teach you a cruel life lesson. Also with a bankroll you cannot afford to lose. That's scared money. Scared money doesn't make money.

Getting Money

Gambling to raise money is not a good idea. Find a way to grind money out through working a job is your best option. However, in the future, if you have time to study investing, you can use an App like Robinhood and invest in stocks that will help your money grow at a much higher rate than any bank account. I started out by investing just $80 so that I could begin learning how to do it and my portfolio has grown substantially more in the past couple months than any savings account I've ever had.

If you need urgent money why not borrow from a friend? You want to choose an easy way to get money but it's not safe. Think about it.

I agree with most of what has been said, gambling while under pressure will definitely lead to major losses. A job has way less variance

See Debi's post and all others that endorsed it.

1) you clearly put your 200$ at risk when playing poker
2) any type of betting is 'risky', even when you have 'an edge'

So, please, do yourself a favour and forget about gambling.
Any other solution will be better or you.

I know of a way. It's even possible to do it in less than 1 day but realistically 2 days to a week.

1. How big a risk are you willing to take?

2. If I tell you how and exactly when to do it, and you make over your target, what percentage of any profit over $450 would you kick back to me? In the event you made $1,000 for example.

Would require you to screen share on something like TeamViewer so I can tell you exactly when to make the moves. Would require about 2 hours of time investment to research with me for the best prospects.
Nothing shady or illegal.

No guarantees. Being conservative, slightly better than 50% shot of making it or losing probably 50-80% range of your cash if it doesn't work out. There's a way to reduce the risk, but longer time frame required.

You would also have a 2nd chance, in the event of blowing up your $200, of borrowing to work with $1000, but again, if it doesn't work you would now be in debt $1000 that you would need to pay back in less than a month.

That's the best I got. Yeah it can be done but high risk/high reward.

Play live poker in a Casino. 2/5 stakes minimum buy in is $200. Buy in $200 double your money cash out. Come back 30 minutes buy in $200 double your money cash out. Come back 30 minutes buy in $200 win $50 then go home.

Loan

If you dont have family to borrow from, try a check advance or payday advance. Pawnshops are handy for an emergency too. But gambling for emergency money is the worst mistake you can make with the $200 you have

If you are really going to gamble for the funds, you might consider mixing the SnG's with DoN's. You should really consider taking some of the advice though. Find other means to procure the money. It is not that much and you have ample time.

yes sites n go in my opinion are the best especially that of 3.5 and 2.5 with 180 players only I advise you to play it if you are experienced, of course!
