Under the Influence Success???

Has anyone ever been drunk, or let's say under the influence of other substances and had success or crushed playing poker. Or maybe you donked of your roll. Most you lost like this? I know it's something you are not suppost to do, but I think most make the mistake once. I know I have.

lol, this reminds me of oen of the wsop ME's where someone was drunk, mightve been scotty nguyen, and he spilled his beer on the table. had a few too many it seemed.

I have been there Wolf, started playing ring games, I was doing all-right, but I had been drinking..well, one drink led to another and before long I was telling the table when to fold, which was the last thing I remember, I woke up on the couch down $40, may not seem like much, but I was playing on the .05/.10 tables.

been there done that gotten the t-shirt lol in fact i was so plastered lol i think i autographed it myself . i blew an easy 200 + dollars in one night on ftp cause i was so out of it grrr sometimes when getting drunk and getting in a fight with your woman does more than brk your hrt it also empties your wallet too lol

that fiucking funny, k ju st happen to have come off of not one, not 2, but 3 $2 sit and go's piss drunk an i happen toowin all 3 of them, its pretty funny howbad some pl are at playing poker, i have no ****ing advtange atm lol

I'd have been better off if I'd just printed up all those tee shirts for been there done that. Drunk play pays big sometimes but getting out when you get up ain't always easy. Sux to see the roll climb then come to on the morrow with the difference slapping you upside the head. "Damn I had it up to 1100 and wake up to 78? WTF?" If you're gonna play too sauced up -- tee shirts are where it's at baby.

I drink beers while I play online very often, but never risking much of BR so it is not really a problem. I just play more aggressive thats all. When I was in Vegas about a year or more ago I was playing at the Stardust $1/2 NL game, sat down with $100 and lost first hand AK to AA. I went onto drink with my girlfriend at the time and ended up going back to the table. I played all night and took them for $1600.

every single time i play blahzay blahzay. and honestly i dont think it hurts at all. drinking thats another story

the casinos want you to drink. thats why they give you free drinks while you are gambling. it increases the casinos odds.

like beer at the casino is free? i'd defintely drink 1 or 2, but that's it just to calm my nerves down.

I agree with BOdizzl... Im always in an "enlightened"state of mind ( puff puff, but i dont pass) when im playin poker. It helps me relax, and actually helps me read tables more. Maybe because i leared to play holdem sitting around with my "circle", playing cards and passin the bong. If i sit down to play and im sober, i play was 2 loose, and usually look at a very early finish. But alchol, ill drink no more then 2 captain and cokes, or 3 beers when playing live, anymore then that, i may as well just hand the dealer my money to split evenly amongst the people sitting at the table.

Last night i won about $30 on 25c/50c limit tables but relised that i might of been lucky so i went to bed. Woke up this morning and lost $15 sober??? is there a moral to this?

Honestly last night was really fun hahaha

i do like to smoke that buddha before a nice session... really gets me in zone, or atleast it's tricking me. whatever works right?
