I play in two to three tourneys a week at UB and I'm getting tired of sitters making it farther in a tourney than I do because of a bad beat or bad decision. Why don't they put a time limit on these cheaters? I think 10 minutes would be a sufficient amount of time to do anything that you might need to do that would pull you away from a tourney. Any thoughts or reasons why UB doesn't take care of this problem?

UB does toss sitters from freerolls since it costs the player nothing. But they don't toss them from buy-ins because of the money the player paid and the player may be having comp troubles or something.

But only if the player has not played a single hand by the first raise in the blinds....that's what the big pause is all about at the 12-15 minute mark...tossing sitters and reducing the number of tables

Okay, I agree with tossing sitters from Freerolls, BUT...

Why toss a sitter who paid to be in a tournament? Come on, if you can't outlast a player who folds EVERY hand, who is the problem? You need to ask yourself why you play the game. Sure, you're gonna get bumped early every so often. But having someone at the table who folds every hand is only to your advantage. They add to the pot while never taking it. You know their action every hand.

Ignore the sitters and get on with your game. I don't mean to sound harsh (and no, I'm not a sitter), but if that's how they want to play their chips, let 'em. Take their free chips and make your stack grow. Any winning player should appreciate the stupid sitters at their table.
