I know I've been asking about a lot of different sites and bonuses, but here's another one. 111% up to $1,000!!! that's up to $1100 free.

Anyway, for people who play there:

1. easy to find games?
2. How tough is the competition?
3. Is it a hassle depositing/withdrawing?
4. Ultimatepoints, it tells me I need 10 per dollar released, but I can't find anything on how often Ultimatepoints are awarded. Anyone know about that?

Thanks.

UB releases bonus $ as they accrue,ie, you clear 20 points, you get $2. Playing cash tables, points add up pretty quickly, although only half as fast as trhey used to. And, their bonus offers don't expire.

As for depositing and withdrawing, I have always found it quick and easy. I made a $100 deposit from an ePassporte account one time, and have been able to use my ePassporte to withdraw multiple times since, and the $ are always available within 24 hours.

Their structure for SnGs is great, they spread a nice variety of cash games at all limits, and you can play "competitive" rock, paper, scissors. Just stay away from their blackjack tables, they are sooo rigged.

Okay I decided a great many Ultimatebet players are Thalidomide babies. However it's still a great site for playing poker. As much as possible play the table.

Don't listen to me after a bad beat. If I'm beat by a decent hand then I'm a sweetie, but if it's crapola I turn into something wicked. I'm just warning u because with $100 you're going to be at the same tables as me for awhile.

Here's how to earn extra points: Just be one of the first two players seated at a table(and bots shouldn't be allowed to sit first but they do, burn all bots).

Microstakes, chock full of bots and fish + assorted drunken maniacs. But if you're friendly and a solid to great player I'll be friendly right back and so will my UB friends.

I'm still new to UB but can't wait till I save up enough to take some of my winnings to FT. They have a wider assortment of games where people actually play at microstakes. Actually if I were you I'd start at FT with their 100% bonus and turn that $100 into $600 to $1200 and take like $600 over to UB for the 110% bonus and not have to play in the gutter with the bots and shark bait but that's me.

Oh yeah, best reason to play at UB: If you say hi to Annie Duke and wish her luck she'll say "hi" and "ty" back and is generally a congenial person. For some reason, if I'm bummed I'll watch her in a tournament for inspiration. I figure if Annie can roll with the punches at her level I can at mine :).

Well someone sent me a link by PM to another site (they were worried it'd be advertising to post here) which gave a breakdown of how they gave away points. First of all it looked like it was a min of 10c/25c games and they only give points when rake reaches 50 cents (pokerstars it's 40 cents and I rarely get FPPs playing at the 5c/10c tables). I think I'll definitely wait until my bankroll can handle hopefully up to 25c/50c and I'll put on the full $1,000 and play there for a while. I'm thinking if I can get my BR up to 2k I'll withdraw the $2,000 and put $1,000 on UB and go for that bonus, assuming they still have it. That could be a while though, probably well into the summer. Also do I have to deposit to play in the freeroll or can I play now without depositing? Thanks and merry Christmas :icon_sant.

You just have to validate your account.

Sorry for the minor hijack but does anyone know how to transfer funds from Absolute to UB?

You do not have to deposit to play in the freeroll - you can play every Friday at 1:30pm.

I think you do it in the Cashier withdrawal window. There is a minimum of $50 which is how I emptied my Absolute account. If you have less than that the transfer option (and any other withdrawal) does not show up.

OK, well I'll definitely play in that the next few days. I think I'll have class then during the year though :(.
