Do you like to play the turbo games offered the online sites? I do not. In fact i will not unless it is a freeroll. I will not because the blinds escalate way to fast for me. I like to take a slow grind, learn the players at the table, and wait for the perfect time to chip up. Theses turbos do not allow that. If you do play turbos, why do you do so. What is your strategy when you play.

If you have trouble turbos regular tournaments will give you 10 minutes can play a screen or two more comfortably and is getting used increases the volume
Actually I also think the complex turbo well and prefer to play those that increase every 10 minutes

I mean, they're not bad.. just a learning curve. I don't prefer it but I don't avoid it all together either.

I think in these kind of tournaments you have to be lucky at the beginning of the tournament; if you don't receive good hands at start your chances to be in the money are really low.

I’ll only play turbos as a freeroll. The only exception is when I’m itching to play and turbos are the only option that’s starting soon. I won’t pay to join super turbos though where the blinds increas3 every 3 minutes as that is a gamble.

Also I do not like to play fast games where the blinds grow every 3-5 minutes .. There are so many garbage players who do not allow to play with average cards because they constantly play All-in .. I like the slow game mode there you can understand who your opponents are and you can wait for a good map that can not be done on a hyper-turbo!
Although sometimes when time is not so much then you can play and a fast tournament but as for me if you are there for 5-6 minutes at least do not double then there is no point to play further!

I very rarely play turbo tournaments and when it's freerolls, I prefer to play normal MTT tournaments in which the rate rises every 7-8-10 minutes so I can concentrate on the tournament, I do not like turbo tournaments!

The strategy I use for turbo is pretty simple.
Play tight at the beginning of the tournament without getting too involved with hands that need the turn and river to complete.
When you arrive in the middle of the tournament and do not have a comfortable stack, with about 15 big blinds, start playing aggressively, at this stage you start pushing and folding and you have to open the range, otherwise the blinds will kill you. Axs, suited connectors, any pair going all in preflop if the table is folded. Players will play many weak preflop hands, so you will rarely lose an all in if you can identify these players and know the right time to call. You have to be aggressive in a turbo tournament!

Yeah definitely not a fan of turbo, which essentially similar to everyone having a short stack in my book. I like games that give a little more time for stronger, more disciplined players to rise to the top more often. Otherwise might as well move closer to playing slots...

Hi.
Sometimes I play in turbo tournaments, but I like playing more ordinary slow tournaments like freerolls from our community. I do not like turbo or hyper turbo tournaments, because this game is more like a casino.
Good luck.

In turbo tournament you have to play more aggressively, as well as to expand its range and lay down in the opponent's hand range is wider than in a normal or slow tournament. If you'll wait just monsters that you simply eat the blinds

Sometimes I play turbo tournaments as well , the play there is way simpler than a regular speed tournament and it doesn't have many post flop game. Most of the times the push / fold strategy is applied also at the final table.

I don't think playing only turbos is the best idea because the variance due to the never ending flips will destroy you but on the other hand if you know what you are doing you can generate profit without much brainstorming.

Turbo tournament is not a game for everyone. I like the slow game better. In turbo tournaments, a lot depends on luck, not player skill.

From your post it appears at least from my view point that you like to live is a perfect world (which does not exist)
Depending on your current age, you may or may not realize that time is not on your side….. or any of our sides for being human as a matter of fact.
If you require max time to make every decision in your hands, then maybe poker may not be a suitable game for your thinking process.
As far as my strategies for playing in a turbo match, simple, I play my plan and plan my play.
Yes my answer was too simplistic … lol… but it truly is more or less that simple.
Good luck just the same :dancing2:

I love turbos. The more turbos the better. I don't have much time as I used to play regular 15 min blinds tournaments so anything around 5-6 min blinds works perfectly for me to count back on the amount of time needed to play.

Looks like I'm in the norm when I say turbos are not my fav...It seems they require a lot of luck...I like the grind...I do, however, play a turbo from time to time when regular tourney/sng are not available...

I also like tournaments that are a bit slower, many free tournaments are turbos, and somehow they can learn something, of course you can not compare with tournaments where you have to pay an entrance, we know that in the free people play as they are, they do not care about the way they play,

:stupid:I am not talking about the time it takes to make a decision during a hand. I am talking about the quicker escalation of the blinds in a turbo Sit N Go:stupid:
