Tracking programs

I am sure this question has been asked and answard before.

1)I am wanting some sugestions on what tracking program i can down load to track my progress on FT?

2)And how much do these programs cost?

some advice would be apriciated or just a point in the right direction.

Pokertracker and Holdem manager are the biggest two. Ive only used Poker tracker but id deffianetly helps you to plug leaks in your game. as you can actively replay any hand you have played. Also the HUD is of great use aswell.

They generally cost between $55 - $85 however with poker tracker you can get a 60 trial to test it out which is plenty enough time.

HEM has a 15-day trial I believe. I've used both PT3 and HEM and I much prefer HEM. You can buy the small stakes HEM (up to 50NL, $1 Limit, and $22 tourney) for $55 or the Pro version for $80. You can upgrade from small stakes to Pro later for $30. They also offer an Omaha add-on and a Table Scanner add-on (which is new and still being ironed out), both have free trials also.

If you play seriously, even at the micro stakes, having a good HUD and good analysis tools for finding your own leaks is well worth the very minor cost -- you can easily use these tools to improve your game and increase your poker revenue such that they pay for themselves in no time. Just a couple of good fish pots in 50NL will pay for them.
