Where is there an independent review of tracking software? I've tried PokerOffice and its buggy. PokerTracker (the 60-day trial version) is too complicated with too little documentation. What else is out there that's simple to use and powerful.

I didn't find Poker tracker or Hold'em Manager that difficut to figure out. The forums for each program have tons of documentation that is quite easy to find/understand. What kind of tracking software are you looking for? Most of the software out there track hundreds of stats, which may not be what you are looking for. Post what you'd like your software to do, and maybe some forum members can chime in with some ideas.

Wish list

I'd like a system that pulls stats for every player at my table (if they exist on the site) at the start, then tracks each one through the game, giving all the relevant stats (including the hand winner). I want the pot odds and the playable outs, and I gather the latest version of tracker will reveal the contents of mucked hands, which is neat.

Sounds like you want a bot. Playable outs lol?

Pokertracker, Hold em manager and poker office are about all that are out right now. Try the HEM trial if you don't like pokertracker.

As for pulling the stats from every player, you can only pull stats that are in your database. Therefore, you either have had to play at a table with somebody, or have had to datamine the site (illegal on some sites). There isn't a magical "stat bank" for the site if that is what you are looking for. And you are better off learning how to quickly calculate pot odds and your clean/dirty outs anyways.
