1) Paulson Top Hat and Cane Poker Chip Set
The worlds best chip maker, for the best experience at the home games.

2) Oakley Sunglasses
Some times is good to hide your eyes in the live games ;-)

3) Poker Tracker 3
Essential Tool for online play, ever player out there needs this even the
the pros use this tool.

4) iPod Touch
In a live games, the action is kind of slow... so you need something
to keep you entertain when ever your not involved in a hand.

5) Projector or Extra Monitor
For those of you that play online, and Multi-Table you know this is a
great addition to your WAR ROOM ;-)

Let me know what are some things you can't do with out or that help your poker game ;-)

I don't get the point of sunglasses. If you are a good poker player, you don't need them. It's hard to see your cards and cards on the board with them anyway.

I use sunglasses (and from my understanding, this is the real reason most pros use them) not necessarily to hide my eyes to prevent me giving off tells but so that my opponents can't see who and what I'm looking at. For example, I never look at the flop when the cards are dealt, I always look at my opponent first and their reaction to the flop. ;)

1. Millions of dollars.
2. Well. Just 1.

For Serious -

I don't mind sunglass at a poker game. It disguises what I'm looking at, and there are a few tells involved in your eyes. I've caught myself doing it, and I've had friends analyzing my game tell me that when I'm not bluffing I'll look up and left, and when I am bluffing I'll look up and right.

Whether or not it's true, I don't know. But I know when I'm playing live games sometimes I'll watch a players action while seemingly disinterested to see if he's putting chips in. While you're wearing glasses you CAN hide what you're looking at. And that's reason enough for me I guess. Though I haven't worn shades to a poker table since 2007.

An extra monitor and more reliable internet connection would be good. But since I'm in Iraq - and don't have a spot for the monitor, not is the internet connection ever going to be reliable . . . I'll settle for the millions of dollars.

Yeah, it's funny when you get heads up before the flop and then neither you nor your opponent look at the flop -- you look at each other instead. Awkward! :D

My top five:
  1. Giant monitor.
  2. Holdem/Omaha Manager.
  3. Plane tickets to Vegas at least twice a year.
  4. Training videos.
  5. Good snacks.

I get the point of them - your eyes can give away a bunch of information so unless you've got the poker face of a Barry Greenstein or Phil Ivey they can reduce the amount of information your opponents get from you.

That said, I just can't bring myself to wear them at the table. I just feel far, far too silly wearing sunglasses inside.

You can't use a Ipod touch in casinos if they find out its a touch you have to put it away and can not use it. This is due to its ability to access the internet, no device that can access the internet can be used at the tables.
