If u ever find your self in a 300BB deep, weak passive live NLTH game then a copy of SS might come in handy but if u play online or the standard 50-100BB casino tables then u be better of with basicly any other poker book IMO.
i dont agree with putting the FTP strategy guide in second, decent book but not much more then that imo.
Also i think u have to specify more what u mean by top 3 poker books.
Do u mean top 3 NL tourney books? top 3 cash game books? top 3 books with the biggest influence on poker?
Im sure plenty of people would argue that High-Low-Split Poker, Seven-Card Stud and Omaha Eight-or-better or Sklansky on Razz are the best poker books ever written but there not exactly mainstream even in the poker community.
I havent read but im pretty sure that the Baluga whales or bobbos ebooks would have a much greater influence on your game then any sklansky or Harrington book...
Any way my top 3 would be.
