Im sure many of the members have had those days where they just go on a good streak, and can't bring themselves to just stopping, i mean why would you, your kicking a$$, however as the night goes on do you find your self becoming more reckless and just playing plain sloppy? I've noticed myself doing this a couple times after a long day of poker.... is there such thing as TOO much poker??? where one actually losses interest in the game but keeps playing out of habbit, and looses some skill due to mental tiredness? hmmmmmm :albertein

I will usually quit if I have two bad games in a row to stop that kind of thing. I've had nights where I keep playing even though I'm running bad and look up and way too much of the BR is gone.

I'm weird that way. I play almost exclusively MTTs and go into the fourth hour at least once, maybe two or three times, each day. That can mean 12 hours of MTTs in an 18-hour period. Toward the end I start to get tired and have to force myself to keep playing. But the weird thing is that I usually do much better in the mid-afternoon or evening, after I've already been playing poker for several hours. The first tourney I enter in the morning is usually a disaster. So go figger.

I think it does depend on you, yourself, and your personality. But, generally, I believe this would be common, considering you become mentally weary and lose some excitement in the game if you have been playing alll daay, going through the motions.

I have never had a day where I won, and won, and won. I quit playing fairly early so that I won't lose what I've already won. On the reverse side I don't expect to lose and lose and lose - yet it has happened several times. Both cases seem to defy probability; I have a hard time accepting that over the short to medium term, probability may not be evident. I mean - what's all this practice for, if not to be better able to rely on probability? To sum, I'm not the one to answer your question ..lol. Still trying to figure out how to balance it.
