Aussie millions Tony G looked to get under lederers skin . But in the interview he said no that that would be rewarding Tony gs behaver. You think tony G really did get under his skin or was lederer not telling the truth.

That's Tony's game. He enjoys needling people at the table to frustrate them and get them off their game. The funny thing is, he's a super nice guy away from the table. I spent a little time with him a few years ago in Vegas and he couldn't have been nicer.

I didn't see it but lederers got pretty thick skin. Tony G is weird; some games he's super relaxed and others he's an aggressive asshole. Total Jekyl and Hyde.

YouTube- poker attitude tony g VS ralph p - Look at this fat asshole!

Tony G does it to get under other players skins.
I saw him on the PS Big Game giving Hellmuth and bad time (who doesn't want to make him tilt) and he can be an ass sometimes.
He is a good player though.

I also have heard that off the felt he is a very likable guy.

I ahve two guys who play in my monthly live game who are also like Tony G, they will do anything and everything to get others off their game.

I just ignore them and whenever I can just take all their chips.

I agree , I have saw him a few times in vegas and he seemed to be very nice the two times I saw him off the table. On the table I can see you wanting to hate him big time. Especially with allot of money at stake.

But I would much rather loose to Tony than Joe Hachem

Tony at least is up front and totally brutally honest about his behavior. Joe hatchem just pretends he is a cool calm aussie, but his true colors allways comes out when someone stands up to him he gets very nasty. I call that a hypocrite LOL ... I take Tony over him anyday !!!

I've seen that before....I love tony g, what a beast.

Tong G reminds me a little bit of Hellmuth, except he's more annoying when he wins as opposed to Hellmuth who puts on a show when he loses.

I used to think Tony G was a jerk, but now I think he's ok. I used to think he was a loose player but since I've watched him a couple of times, he played pretty tight. Anyone have an opinion on his style of play? (tight or loose) :)

I have a begrudging respect for people like Tony g who can really get under people's skin at a table. I bet it works on cash games like a magic charm and watching him offer to stake a pro like Hellmuth and give him better odds to keep him at table is priceless.

I do think slamming a national group of players is a bit over the top.

Your thinking to square minded .. Thats the kind of people he looks to verbaly attack .. So you have to not think so basic of a visual and sound observation cause at the poker table he will catch on to that through facial expressions and then in his words attack you !!! LOL seriously though..

Watching those videos makes me think he is a jerk.
