Tom Dwan, who is rumored to be a frequent combatant in the high-stakes cash games in Macau, up until recently hadn’t done much on full tilt poker since it returned this past fall. However, the past seven days have been huge for the New Jersey native, as he’s currently up more than $2 million on the software during the period, according to data from HighstakesDB.

Dwan has been battling with the likes of Ben Tollerene, Phil Ivey, Phil Galfond, Ben Sulsky and Hac Dang at a mixture of high-stakes games.

Dwan had been on an online downswing for quite some time prior to the recent surge. He’s up more than $3 million lifetime on the Full Tilt software, according to HighstakesDB.

The 26-year-old made a return trip to the United States last month to participate in the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship. He cashed for $25,000.

While Dwan is by far the biggest winner over the past seven days, Sulsky and Ivey have each dropped seven-figure sums. Ivey had an interesting — and massive — hand at no-limit deuce-to-seven triple draw during the stretch.

Returning to the Full Tilt scene was Ilari Sahamies, perhaps known better by “Ziigmund”. Sahamies had a poor week on Full Tilt, dropping $200,000, but he won on pokerstars.

I guess that'll help make up for his "record loss" recently in Macaw.

Wow, I can't believe that he is only 26! I thought that he is about 33-35 years old (lol) cause since I have an interest in poker - I see everytime on TV, lol.

Good results after big losses in Macao

dwan is fortunate to be in the position he is in. he has had some massive swings as of recent - I just hope he is clever enough to bank mot of his winnings and re-accumalate whats in play.

I dont think he is one of the best anymore he for one doesn't train often enough to keep at his ultimate peak and the field now is ferocious - its not a dummys game anymore making 5 and 6 figure bankrolls.
Regardless, enough respect this end for dwan

Dwan will always have downswings. Your game is very aggressive and opens and pushea with any hand, it is your style.

Good for Tom Dwan, I use to watch Phil Hellmuth blowup on Dwan and feed him piles of cash.
