Hello all,

I'm posting this because of a serious problem a good friend of mine is having with Titan Poker.

He has won a fair amount over recent weeks on Titan's site, but as yet has not received any money.

Whilst expecting a cheque for £1,200 pounds to be sent (by express, which cost an extra £20), he has received an endless stream of communications from their support team, asking him to confirm card details, signatures etc.

This has been going on for about 10 days, and they have recently told him it will be another 6-8 days before the cheque is despatched. In the meantime, they have started asking him to confirm 'deposits' he has made, by sending copies of signatures etc for a second time.

I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience? Has anyone actually been paid by these guys, or is the whole site an elaborate scam??

Look forward to hearing from you

Hey Fango,

I'm sure he'll get his money as long as he's on the up & up. My problem I had is I never made a deposit. I recieved a $25 No deposit Bonus. They have a minimum hands played balance before you can withdraw. It ends up being 1500 points. They told me I could not withdraw until I had that amount of points. Once I got the 1500 points I was able to withdraw with no problems.

1. Has he deposited?
2. How many points does he have?

Tell your friend to use neteller to save him from similar hassle in the future. It's fairly standard procedure to request ID/verification when other deposit/withdrawal methods are used.

Even Titan support will tell you that using bank draft (getting check sent out) has the longest wait to receive your funds. It can take anywhere from 9-23 days or so. And if your friend is withdrawing a substantial amount, you really can't blame them for dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's. It sounds like they are just trying to verify his identity; if it were me I wouldn't mind...at least he knows no one else would be able to fraudulantly withdraw funds.

If its his first withdrawal then this type of thing can happen.
I have had it many times at different sites when making substantial first time withdrawals.
The method he used to deposit ( if at all ) might also come into play here.
It does kinda suck, and I can relate to his frustration, but like JuiceeQ said, if nothing else it shows that they are being vigilant.
Please let us know the outcome, as Forums such as this can hold a strong voice with poker site irregularities.

Thanks

Thanks to all of you for the advice. I'll make sure he checks the points, and investigates the Netteller option.

Cheers

I have had no problems with withdrawing money from Titan, but I use Neteller, to put funds in. If I run short at other areas I play at,I take it from Neteller and make deposit.
