Titan 1500 guaranteed

Well I tried to keep the CC hot streak going. Sitting around not doing much & I noticed a $5 buyin $1500 guarantee rebuy about to start so thought what the hell & entered. Won 2 or 3 coin flips early including catching a boat on the river to avoid elimination & reached the break in top 20. 172 players by the way. Anyway with around 60 players left I am dealt Q,10 of clubs, I am big blind, 1 call, I check, flop is Ac, Jo, xo, I bet minimum, get called, turn is Kc. So here I set holding a nut straight and looking at a nut flush draw & oh by the way a royal flush draw. What to do? That's right Rob, I get disconnected. Took me nearly 10 minutes to get back online! Fortunately my daughter is staying with her mother this weekend & was spared hearing a number of words & phrases that I had forgotten I knew. lol. Finally got back online & managed not to go on tilt. Hung in & took 12th, in the money but not up to the high standards being set around here lately. What the hell, better than I usually do in MTT's, I have got to say that the level of play in our nightly & weekend games is so much higher than what I saw tonight that I felt confident as hell all game long. Well enough of this,time for a glass of anti-scurvy medicine & of to bed.

Well played Kenzie, sorry they pulled a "Rob" on ya. Seems like you still did good. Those $5 rebuys do get pretty crazy, especially before the break. Often you can win a few big hands early capitalizing off the looseness and then kick back picking only perfect spots to bet until the break. Other times you get outdrawn and knocked out. Thats just how those things are. For me anyways.

Only this time it was my fault. My grandson was helping me play, when I noticed he need a diaper change. Being the dutiful granfather I started the task. Looking over at the screen I saw I had AA in the pocket. Couldn't get there fast enough to raise just called. Turned around grandson running away messy. Turned back , Flop was AAK and I timed out to a minimum bet.
Couldn't play worth crap the rest of the tourney.
Definition of tilt.

Ditto on pain

Last night I started a MTT on pokerstars after midnight(Bad choice) Im near the end already in the money but with a low chip count. I really want final tablet its now 3 to 4 am. I hear this beep and open my eyes(Nodded off) to see 10's get timed out. Flop is 10-6-10 . Winner gets a boat load of chips with 6-6-10-10. Never got another chance.

Kenzie, we should start a group! Was slow playing a biggie heads up in the Sunday $10 Cardschat game, about to go all-in when - disconnect number 8. The first 7 I battled back from, but number 8 was a disconnect too many. It always seems to be the big hands - at least Pokerstars gives you a fighting chance to get back and save hand (reason 2,496 why it is better than Titan), but you've got no chance on Titan. I'm not playing anymore until i've got my broadband sorted out!

Rob I really don't know how you put up with it. I only get kicked off once in a while & can hardly stand that. Played in a 2000 freexout today & had no problems then got booted while playing in the CC buyin just after. Go figure.

Disconnects are the biggest cause of tilt on my part. I have dial up and it takes time to get back in. Staying off tilt after your disconnect makes you a bigger winner and better player. dmc7777

I dont put up with it anymore. Tis a shame cos I like the site games (and the Sunday one is a real goldmine with the $100 added, but Titan and me just aren't compatible.

The bad part for the rest of us is that all those disconnnects screw your game up enough that we at least have a chance against you. lol. Well will see you at PokerStars & Full Tilt I guess until you and or Titan get this straightened out.
