Have you ever beat yourself at the table? A few days back I clicked call when I went to click fold= knockout before ITM .
Today I'm dealt 98 in bb. Flop is 10 8 7 rainbow .I think "nice I flopped a str8"
=knockout on the bubble.
Note to self..Pay attention at the table!:banghead:

Have done both although the misclick is by far more common...only misread hand once, screen minimized so small thought I had flush when did not...(now only colored decks)...it really stings because with variance and harsh rivers and suckouts plus bad beats, the last enemy you need is yourself...

Been there and done both in past. There is a quote by POGO (newspaper cartoon character) that says: "We have met the enemy and he is us".

Alcohol, drugs and stress can also assist you in being your worse enemy while playing poker and life.

I really don't think it's the misclicks we should be worried about but the wrong decisions. Making over aggressive plays when we are never going to get villain to fold and calling when we know we are beat are much more costly than a misclick.

So yes, we are many times our worst enemy.

I cant find that hand in database but i once floped a Gutshot and it seemed that i have straight. NL10 Oponent cbets , i raise , he goes ALL-IN for 160bb and i snapcall with J 8 on 7 10 6 flop LOL160bb , turn is 9 MUAHAHAHAHAHA ,
but river is 6 and i lose (Im wondering what he thought about me- sumfin like DONK , lets make a note :) ) That hand i will remember for years because i lost 16$ (yes sometimes after playing 6 hours straight 6 becomes a 9 LOL.)
And for misclicks i misclick almost everyday (I have Right mouse button set on fold on pokerstars) so im folding big pair sometimes preflop and once accidentaly folded AA couple months ago. But IMO no need to get upset for that , because that happens to everyone and who knows , maybe you wouldve lost a stack if you called.

I already misclick many times, especially when I'm playing many tables. It's awful when it happens, but I already got used.

Only a couple of mis-clicks, but yeah they do suck when they're at key moments.

I do agree that we're more likely to be "our own worst enemy" with calling when we know we are beat (or we're almost certain anyhow). Have just about eradicated this from my cash game, but must remain vigilant - lol.

Once I clicked all in on accident with 56o or something and I went against AA! I actually won! Who would thought a stupid move like that would work out :D. The person that lost was even cool about it. They said wow that was a good mistake LOL. On aced I set it now I have to confirm when I want to all in.
