Time to take a shot?
Hey guys, I have been playing online poker obsessively for about 3 months now. my first deposit was 100$, and the first games i played were micro stakes 9-man sngs. I got my bankroll up to about 200$, and decided to give full ring cash
games a try. watched a few videos took a lot of notes and decided to test my skill at 5nl. I played about 4k hands at 5nl decided to move up to 10nl after getting the hang of full ring cash. I am currently beating 10nl for 8bb/100 over a 15k hand sample. I saw a video on a training (http://www.deucescracked.com/forums/9-Articles/topics/304761-Time-to-take-a-shot-#) site that said it was important to take shots when building a bankroll. For example if I had $400 dollars in my account (approx 15 buy-ins for 25nl) It suggested I should take a shot at 25nl and move back down to 10nl if I get stuck a few buy-ins. Anyone know if this is a good/bad idea or if i should get a larger sample size at 10nl before getting too ****y and trying to move up? I know the standard bankroll size for full ring cash is around 20-30 buy-ins just looking for some advice on what to do.
