So recently Ive been playing primarily at Full Flush and i have notice that the time allowed i find to be to short. There is no time extension and there some calls or folds i just need more time to way my options. I know carbon has a time bank and i do really think all sites should. I know that ppl will use the time bank to waist time, especially around bubble time and that would get annoying. But I feel that on some hand si need that little extra time and im being rushed trying not to run out of time. Sometimes i am forced to make a make a call or fold and when i look back i feel if i had a bit more time i could have made a better decision . Was wondering if anyone else has had these issues.

Very few times will I run the time bank down with on-line play. Normally your first instincts are correct. On that site, you might follow the table real close and provide a few variables as play goes on. Good luck with this site.

Time bank usage is just as important in strategy as betting structure in that the hesitancy or speed of your bet creates the sense of nerves in online poker that people respond to. Master manipulators can use this strategy with no hands at all!

I agree with the first instinct. However there are a few hands deep in a tourney where i feel i wish i had another 30 seconds to decide. Or just a few extra seconds to recall a few past hands.

i feel that the sites i play on have enough time to make a decision. oh dont you hate it when a player uses all of the allotted time given every hand. right away i wonder if the player is having a connection problem or if he is doing this just to mess with the other players. i guess the first clue would be right after he times out hes back in his seat ready for the next hand. oh then at that point i figure hes just a donk so i put a note on the player just to see if i ever run into this player again.

Usually 1st instinct is correct as you`ve played tousends of hands and you know what to do in different situationg but sometimes it`s not. Sometimes tough setuations require onother 30 seconds to make the right decision.

In my opinion in online poker your first instinct is correct. There are some situations however some do require up to 30 seconds decide. So I do think most sites should give you 15 or 20 seconds to make a decision plus a addition 30 sec. bank if needed.

i like to play turbo MTTs and there is no time bank, so i have no need to use time bank in normal speed tournament

Im not sure if I could Multi-Table well enough without a timer.
But yeah, generally the decisions are made on first instincts.

no i do see that some sites aren't giving enough time to think. i can usually make up my mind in the first two seconds but some times i just need a little more time to go into the think-tank to figure it all out and it usually will take more than just 30 seconds.

happens that the time bank is consistent with the structure of a tournament. In a super turbo tournament would not have much time to put logic for decisions.
Sometimes difficult hands in which not enough time to decide the best way, but in those cases it is better once the game is finished, analyze specific hands that make us think more for after a playtime be more with fast decisions.

Same feelings here. I play at BetOnline and really wish I had a time bank a few times in the past.

It's not just the lack of a time bank on BOL and Full Flush that I have a problem with. It's the incredibly short play clock. I'm the type of player that very rarely goes into my time bank, on the sites that have them. The time in the standard play clock is usually more than ample time to make any decision.

On BOL and Full Flush, however, the allotted on the regular play clock has proven on more than one occasion to be too short to calculate optimum bet sizing. I have literally flopped aces full and timed out and had my hand folded before I could calculate my bet size and type it in. We're talking about having no question as to whether or not I'm going to play the hand. I just flopped aces full. There is no question that I'm going to play it. I already know that, with three other players in the pot, I'm going to fire out 2/3 of the pot. I just need calculate that amount. After doing some quick math in my head, I type the resulting number into the box and hit enter, with what looks like a few seconds to spare, only to see those last few seconds tick away and my hand be folded.
