It's not fair, I'm losing my fourth coin in a row! "Or" This idiot ran over my aces for the second time this session! Why is everything so unfair? "How often do you have such thoughts during a session? But the biggest danger is that by allowing such thoughts, you internally begin to resist this reality, you want justice to instantly prevail, but this does not happen.

This is where tilt creeps in - your thoughts are completely occupied with this indignation, and you lose the threads of the game. It would seem that solving this problem is not so difficult - you just need to perceive the realities of poker as they are. But in reality everything is far from so simple, otherwise those who are at least somehow familiar with the mathematics of poker and the theory of probability would not have such problems. Just try to tell yourself during these situations that anything can happen in the short run in poker.

Everything is written correctly. But how difficult it is to stick to it. :)

I absolutely agree with you. I also believe that our desire for justice in such moments is the main reason for tilt. In my opinion, players need to consider their own game only in the long run and just try to make quality decisions during the game of each game.

Poker isn't fair at any time. You have good runs and bad runs. Take a break when tilt to take your mind of poker do something fun.

I think 99% of players are outraged by bad beats. But few manage to maintain control and continue playing normally.
When I play online poker, I always wonder why the program did that to me and I can't get over it.
In live poker I have more tolerance, as there is no program giving the cards.

Maintaining yourself clear headed is part of a professional routine. It is a part of the game. If handling tilt was easy, the game would be different.

Everything looks exactly as you described. Sometimes I really have thoughts of "Why is everything so unfair" .... and these emotions force me to make hasty and erroneous decisions.

So you've never let your emotions get a hold of you in the middle of a game?

It's just variance, rest a bit and come back with volume if the AA always won, it wasn't poker.

I confirm, there is no justice in poker. all you can do when the cards are not in your favor and you lose even with max hands. it is to fold your hands while waiting to regain your senses and to be able to play your A game again.

There are days when it is better to leave the daily assignment or not open another tournament, and go to study or do something else, because those days incredible things happen, if you have a straight the opponent has a flush if you have double the full rival if you have a flush, the Another has a colored ladder, and yesterday I lost A7 VS 740 on the floop, it came out 774, and it all started when I raised x4 and paid with 74o ??? I think more than 68% were in favor before the floop the other hand was a pair of 55, floop Q45 I pose multiway I go all in, I lost against A 7th who called all in with nothing on the turn3 river6, conclusion straight with 7, this was my day yesterday, very bad

Well Said

Well said, however easier said than done. I do get tilted, but usually it’s do to a beat that bounces me out of a tournament or sit in go, so there is nothing I can do for that tournament. Sometimes I jump right back into another one, which is a mistake. Better to take a break.

I agree, but we must try to fight it.

Poker is not justice! When a person sits down to play poker, he must immediately understand that this game will not be fair. This should be treated normally, because it won't always go the way you want. There are two options, either play poker or not!As for me, I take it fine, unpleasant of course, but nothing can be done about it, I signed up for it myself)

Yeah, a lot of pro-players said that accepting losing as an essential part of playing poker/poker career was a turning point for them of becoming a professional. But a lot of non pro-players say the same - that they understand that loses are inevitable, although they might be fine only with losing 50/50 - a coinflip, or when they have been dominated by equity. But they completely forget about it (that they still can lose and it's normal) once they have 80%+ equity. Insta tilting is triggered and everything seems to be unfair. So I agree with poker pros - to accept losing as a part of the game, especially when you seem to be an undeniable favourite, is a huge step towards treating poker professionally and making profits as a result.

Easier said than done though, might be the reason why only 5% of players are long-term profitable players, they say.

Brain Plays Pinball

If I had $1 for how many times I thought that randomizer had something against me, I would be at least 1,000 richer, it seems.
All I feel I can do is play smart, make the best logical hand possible and take that dive.
Good luck!

Totally agree, many times I have lost myself with monsters and the first thing I did was ask myself why? And this made me go into a state of tilt blind but well I was learning to mature in this sense and fully concentrate on my strategy.

Justice is a chimera invented to control people. After all, everyone has their own justice. Either you go forward or you stand still while clinging to the phantom.
