Hello! My friend, when he loses a good deal, starts making rash moves, and very quickly loses everything! When I explain to him that after the game he would take a break, he does not listen to me.
Tell me how else should he act in such cases?

He should start listening to good advice. ;)
But some people are not capable of this.

If he has uncontrollable actions after suffering a bad beat, he HAS to step away for the day afterwards or he will continue to punt away the rest of his money/stack. All you can do is reinforce this to him and hope he realizes it before he does it again. is he a cash game or mtt player?

I see your friend in you...and me...that is the definition of tilt, it's a normal reaction. Only time and experience can help up to a point, but even the top pros go on tilt. If you are playing high stakes, it might be worth seeing a psychologist qualified in hypnotherapy, that could make quite a difference.

People tend to avoid listening to others when in need of help due to them already knowing their problem but are incapable of solving it even though they know the solution to it. I think it's kind of common sense to everyone now that when on tilt you should just quit poker for the day and have a new fresh start without having a massive hit to your bankroll. You need to find a different way to approach him in this matter, maybe get someone that's closer to him to discuss this fact or even suggest professional advice?

As much advice there was not on this topic and conversations, but I came to the following conclusion:
If your friend falls into tilt - then he is a gambler, and excitement is a disorder, a disease and cope with it can be 1-2 people out of 10, which eventually can break his life. I perfectly understand that my words will most likely not be heard with due understanding now, and therefore there is another way out - stop investing money in poker !!! It's good that there are plenty of opportunities for online, believe me. Even when he loses what he did not put on his account from his pocket, it will take far less nerves, and unfortunately they are not being restored.

If your friend is a gambler, then you can hardly help him, he must go to understand when it is necessary to be able to stop)

has to realize that "bad beats" are a part of the game, if have been 1-2outter-ed many times. i just get used to it and try to play optimally. obviously if you still have chips left its frustrating, but still have to play well

Back in the day I used to end the session everytime Id lose a big pot to avoid bad play due to tilting, but then I realized It wasnt a good thing to end every session on a losing way. At the end of the day you just gotta learn to control it and do not allow it to affect your game.
