Those who play poker live, do you use a card protector?

Now that I'm getting back into live (as opposed to online) game play, I'm considering getting a card protector rather than sticking a couple of chips on my cards -- just for fun and esthetics, and because I like interesting objects.

I searched eBay and found a large, silver coin with my name on the front. On the back it says, "I know I have the body of a weak and feeble woman, but I have the heart and stomach of a king." No joke!! ROFL. I think it would be perfect.

Does anyone else here use a card protector? If you do, what do you use?

roundcat,
Wow that does sound pretty cool. Yes, I use a card protector whenever I play live. I have a yellow Snapple cap from a Lemonade bottle that says "Lemons 'R Lucky" on the top. And I found out the fact on the back of the cap is actually false, so I consider that like a bluff. lol

I think it's a good idea to have one, I've seen people's cards get mucked by a dealer because they weren't paying attention and didn't have a protector. I think it's also cool to have something unique and fun. Something that may even spur conversation at the table.

Doyle has a domino he calls "Casper", (You've might have seen this on ESPN) which actually has the Ghostbusters logo on it, and which Doyle had extremely good luck playing with. Doyle actually rented this out to several people. . . Lederer wanted it so bad he got Doyle to will it to him when he dies by paying him $3,500. . . I guess we'll find out if it's really lucky.

I don't like them. I tried to use one but it gets in the wa and it breaks my concentration. The other opponents doesn't bother me because I don't look at their cards. I look only at them and their chipstacks.

Roundcat,
I don't have one as of yet but I do have my eye on one through an ad I saw in the Woman Poker Player Magazine for Breast Cancer Awareness. It's like $69.95 but 20% of the proceeds go toward Breast cancer research. It's pure silver and pretty sharp looking. But I'm sure I won't get it for a long time so I guess I better find something else around the house. I do have a little jade jug my former boss brought back from her trip to Vietnam and gave to me which I had thought about using till I can purchase one.
