I'm rarely as courteous, unless the guy shuts up and looks embarassed. There is nothing less classy than catching runner runner then shoving it in your opponents face. Firstly i'll explain to said gimp in less than hushed tones why his pre-flop call was bad. This will take about five minutes and a couple of hands of me grinding my money back from said gimp. THEN, even if he is meekly cowering in his chair i'll explain why his call on the turn is physically HORRENDOUS, and how what followed is an example of why gimps lend themselves to poker as they would a game of craps. If he's still playing that bad after my rant, i'll probably feel pretty bad cause he most probably doesn't have the noodle to play any better even if he tried.

The thing is I guess I really should try and be more calm.

After all, that's poker. ;)

I never claimed to be a classy guy. ;)

Besides, I was enjoying getting carried away with my post.

Why would you want this guy to not play bad? With all due respect, it's far better to let the bad players play bad & accept the bad beats given to you. Bad players are essential to the poker economy.

I'm sorry I feel I should clarify, I was taking the piss. I don't really play live poker. :)

Some people over use "That's Poker"

It's warranted to use that phrase when you pretty much should win the hand but someone calls with something they shouldn't and wins.

What is annoying is when someone went into a hand with sometihing marginal to begin with, it gets strengthened and becomes the current winning hand by what flops on the board but then they lose anyways to someone who does play a playable hand against them and wins, then the loser says "That's Poker!"

They shouldn't have played their hand to begin with!

I think they say that as a defense mechanism. When they get sucked out, they say "oh well, that's poker" to calm themselves down so they won't burst in rage.
