Thanks to this forum while playing poker instead of going out early or being a donk I'm now seeing alot of consistency in my game and am hearing compliments from other players. It dawned on me how much my game has changed when a player told me "good fold". (3xbet with AKs, K-9-2-7 rainbow on the board, got reraised big and folded, he showed pocket 9's)

To me saving myself that 2500 chips in a sit n' go is better then winning 3-4000.
Basically I'm a fish and I'm thanking you guys for improving my game so one day I can hope to evolve to something a little more ferocious :).

I have to agree with you that was a very hard to lay down hand,and a good fold, My game is also improving with the excellent advise you receive at this site, Thanks members:)

Thats awesome to hear!

After reading this forum i have felt the level of my play rise as well... I cash in many more MTTs now! And it has really helped everything in my game!

very good fold with ak i no its hard to fold but in that case you made a very good and hard decision after all tho its only 1 pair he could of had 2 pair but ovhe had trips when he showed it lol

this forum has been a lot of help with me to my game is much more improved than 6 months ago when i was rather terrible well not terrible but not as good as i am now :):)

I find that alot of people online just cant get away from AK. Even without a pair they'll call you down. So thats definately a good start.

i agree i see that to often ppl calling ak with no pair and most of the time fkn hitting on the river grrr

Well, if you are getting re-raised, you need to think that something's wrong... But AK is my favorite card, and I can only fold it rarely.
