Teddy Sheringham is a world-famous football (or soccer) player who just signed with Colchester United on July 4. He's 44 but still going strong in the game. Apparently, if you're a sports star, the thing to do after signing a new deal is play in the world series of poker.

i like how they say 'world famous' then put a pic that isn't him up, heh.

i've seen him on a couple of uk poker shows and from what i remember he's a fairly decent player.

yea - this confused me lol. I am groggy from being up too late gambling in the wrong time zone - but I am coherent enough to know that is not Teddy lol.
