LONG READ but very interesting, would love to hear your comments on my play please.

So tonight we do our usual wed night cash game... I was playing very good (IMO) and got 2 very very bad beats by the same AGRESSIVE NEWBIE guy. I still walked away with $120 profit but man i was on tilt after the second bad beat by the same guy. So first time everyone is forced to buy in for 20 and if you lose you can rebuy up to 60.... i know dumb crazy rule but house rules. The guy we play in his house only buys in for 20 so thats why he made the rule. Anyway here are the bad beats.

BAD BEAT 1 (second one is even worse)
At this time i am up to like 48 bucks playing very well.
I limp in with AK suited out of position and the guy on the button makes it 3.50$. I flat out call and the AGRESSIVE NEWBIE calls too. Anyway flop comes
K 9 3 all different suits. I check and they follow checking . So the turn is a 7
so i bet out 7$ dollars. He says i hit the 7 because i bet 7 dollars and thinks for a while before going all in for like $60 bucks( he already went out with his 20 dollars ofcourse) Knowing the way he plays and using my reads i KNOW for sure he is weak so ofcourse i call. He shows 7Q offsuit on a K,9,3,7 board.... The river comes in at 7 and he gets rewarded with $120 with my AK.

I feel like crap but hey bad beats happen no problem. I rebuy with 60 bucks knowing ill take the money back. I play for one hr and i am up to like $250 bucks killing it!!!! He became tight after that stupid call but i knew i was gonna get him.

BAD BEAT 2

AGRESSIVE NEWBIE raises to $5 the mid position calls and i call with button having 77. I did this knowing that if i flop a set i take all his money probobly.
FLOP = Q, 7, 3 rainbow (dream flop IMO)
First to act he bets $15, mid position calls, i raise to $35....
He looks at me talks alot of trash pushes around $100 ( all in) ... mid position folds and i insta call. He shows KK and i have trips (777).
Turn= Blank
River ..... yah you guesed it.. he got his 2 outer on the river a K for trip KKK vs my 777. Again he gets rewarded with about $250-300 for being dumb.
I exhaled feeling like the biggest crap ever, all my hard work grinding lost in another bad beat against the same guy.

After that i had about 140 left.... and went on a crazy ass tilt, i knew it but there was no stopping it. I knew i was tilting i was telling them i was tilting and i just couldnt control it.

Very next hand he gets KK again and raises to $5, again. I call with 6J suited (clubs) out of position (only one caller).... i know not smart but i was tilting and wanted to get him bad.
FLOP = 4 8 10 (2 clubs) He bets 15, i call
Turn is a club and i could see him dissapointed with the club so i check out of position. He bets $20 and i do some hollywooding ( acting) like i am getting ready to fold than i trow in $20 like i am mad and tilting. River comes some random card (not club) and at this time i am afraid of checking it because he could sense there was something fishy going on. SO i bet $25, he goes crazy showing the hand to the other player before saying "here ill give you some of your money back"... he calls and shows pocket KK and i show flush to get about 50 of my money back.

After that i was still tilting actually put a guy who was low on chips maybe $35 all in thinking i had a streight when i didnt. He had pocket AA and called... i said i got a streight and after flipping over my cards he tells me NO YOU DONT ...lol. I felt like the biggest dumbass ever losing $35 thinking i had a streight. After going down to about $60 i regained my self and went back up to $200 for a $120 profit.

My question is how do you control the tilting. I am very competative and dont mind losing when i go in as a underdog or when its like a flush draw and the guy hits his flush after going all in. I know tilting is bad and i knew i was tilting but i just couldnt stop it after the 2 outer.

Oh btw the guy who kept giving me bad beats ended up going home $30 dollars down. Yes he pretty much gave my money to some other people.

Also i would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how much of a favorite i was going to the river when he hit his K on the river. I am guessing i was like 95-98% favorite after the turn because he could only beat me with 2 KK left in the deck and thats assuming nobody else had a K....

Recipe for getting off tilt:
The only way to get off tilt is to recognize you are tilting!!!
If you don't see it coming (and we've all probably been there) you won't get out of the way of it.
Since you KNEW you were tilting you HAVE TO GET UP AND LEAVE FOR A BIT!!!
You should call it a night and get out of the game PERIOD.
But if you are at a weekly poker night and it's your only kitchen pass for the week and you're not ready to go home to the ball and chain...
leave, go on a beer run, go have a smoke, go outside and walk to the end of the block because you have to "make a phonecall".

oops, wrong key i wasn't done yet...
while away from the rest of the game you have to remind yourself what your "A" game looks like. What hands do you normally play from each position on the the table, and for how much? take about 10-15 min off and when you return, go back with the mindset that you are not playing any hands less than a top 5 premium starting hand for the next half hour...just spend the time watching everyone playing and be social. Not sure if this is too simple, but works for me!!!

1st hand in my opinion was your bad all the way(not really a bad beat) First, limping AK was not the greatest thing, and then trying to slow play got you in trouble. If you would have bet your TPTK, chances are you take it down there, not letting him hit his hand. Second one was definately crappy for ya though. But if you had Kings there, you probably wouldnt fold it either seeing what the board texture was, so you cant fault him too much, just bad hand for ya there.

RichKo , yes as you can see i wasnt that pissed about the first hand much. I didnt even go on tilt after it even though he got a runner runner and pushed in all his chips with a 7 on a K 9 3 7 board. As smart poker players that is what we try to do all the time, have people go all in with the worst hand and i achieved that. But he hit like 1 of his 6 outer (assuming nobody had Q or 7 in hand). I tried slow playing my AKsuited knowing someone will raise and the button did. After the flop i hoped the button guy that raised preflop would bet after i checked but he didnt. Thats why when the 7 came i bet 7 dollars and he went all in. I think i could have player that hand much better but the main point is that i got him to put all his money being 1 to 5 dog in my opinion.

The second time really pissed me off though, i just couldnt calm down.

BDDP, i will try to use your method. You are right i knew i was tilting and that is our only weekly game so i didnt want to leave so early even though i was still up.
