Has anyone ever taken a big risk just so they could play poker such as playing with your rent or mortage money, played with borrowed money from family or friends that you do not have and would have trouble paying them back or anything else? Why did you do it or do you know of anyone else who has done it? Is it a sign of a problem or signs of dedication risking it all to make your dreams come true?

Yes, this happens .. I've got played the rent , but with luck i've got tripled them and i never do that again . Was risky ... because it's something bad to play the other part money . Like rent or anything else , so ... Don't do this !

"Is it a sign of a problem"

Yes. As maybe the lowest rolled guy on the site, yes. No ambiguity; no rationalization.

I found if I didn't tell my wife I went to the casino... I didn't play my A-Game half my mind wasn't in the hand, instead of analzying my player if he's weak or strong, I was thinking damn I should go home before she found out! ... I only did it once and she found out while I was there when I messaged her, I didn't lie to her, I just didn't tell her I was going.. So i'm deadly honest with everything, if you readup theres somewhere it says don't play with monsters in the closet... Well that's it.

Hmmm your not suited to poker and breaking BR management... Hell if your smart enough you could deposit 10 dollars min online... If you go bust use the rest of the week to analyse your game and readup, perhaps you'll turn that next 10 into something more.

Theres really no reason in todays age to use the rent money... Maybe back 20 years ago when there wasn't online poker and just the casino's ... but this day and age you can avoid these costly mistakes.

Mind you those people who do those bad mistakes... really make someones night who has taken the right steps to move forward with their poker journey

I think this would be classed as playing with scared money. I only play with money that I can afford to lose, the last thing I want to do when making a big decision is worrying about paying the rent or eating.

I have never risk anything like that.I want poker to be enjoyable. You know a person could not play their best poker if they are worried the whole time about losing it.

If not in Nevada, but still in a legal state, there are really only 4 networks to think about; Bovada, Merge, Winning, Revolution.

Send an email to any of them and ask them how to deposit. There is always good ole Western Union.

It's really not a good idea to play with money you can't afford to lose as it effects your decision making so much! You will end up folding hands you shouldn't or perhaps in desperation play hands you shouldn't.
