So I decided to take a leap from 5NL to 10NL on Bovada.. Woohoo! I'll tell you what though, what a difference! I thought I could just go on there as usual, watch youtube, and do other things like that, but no you have to actually pay attention.. ( an epiphany ) yeah I know.. DUH.

Honestly though, I feel it is making me pay more attention. So I think that it may help my game. Btw, I was beating 5NL, So that's what made me try. Anyways I'll keep you guys posted on how I do. Good luck on the felts everyone! :)

Ok to add to this post, I guess I was a little excited to be doing "the jump" but from what I seen so far it's pretty much the same thing. I am paying more attention so I believe that's better for my game.

You might be slightly more motivated seeing bigger pots, but just be wary that it means higher variance.

Just be willing to slip down to 5nl if things go sour.. BRM is upmost importance and that's what i'm practicing to control. because I've failed with BRM and theres nothing worse than repopping the account.

well if you have to pay more attention then its not the same thing, However if you feel like you can beat it then its good that you moved up. Not because of the fact that you can win more money but because it will improve your overall game especially if you didn't have to pay full attention to the game to beat it.

Every time we move up we face better opponents which makes us better and better.

Just becareful not to go on tilt at the higher stakes and keep good bankroll Management it's easier to lose your $$$$ at the higher stakes, so if you go on a bad run and don't have enough BB/BI's to feel comfortable at 10NL just go back down to 5NL and play there till you have enough to go back up and be comfortable at the table

Good Luck and more importantly Good SKILL!!! =)

Totally agree, I thank you for the advice as well. I'm still working on that too. It just seems to me that if you must learn poker you must play with people that are playing poker you know? I know there are fish where I'm trying now but it seems the players are a step up from what I'm use to so far..

On 888 I've played all levels to see what it's like... between 2nl-10nl it was tight but it there was plenty of fish and action.

When I played 20nl 30nl... If I thought things were tight my gawd, I found it awrfully nitvillish lol... but say 100nl+ it was the other side of the rainbow but that doesn't mean it's any easier, it's far harder because the best LAGS are out there :) So if the LAGS don't kill you the TAGS will mop up the remainders hah :)

Balls or stupidty hell I just wanted to test waters.

Last w/e 1/3 turbo casino live game.. I called a preflop raiser and someone who barrelled all streets... and I won with 94 and my 4 hit.

I know this is not ideal most the time, but I had a massive read on the guy and could tell he had absolutely nothing. One of my strengths is being able to read opponents and actually pick up their vibes.
