This morning I noticed a small deposit of $1.49 into my account at Full Tilt. Looking further back I found this e-mail from security@fulltiltpoker.com expaining the transaction. Just curious if anyone else received a similar notification or has any information on what this is all about. I'd like to know what terms were violated, when and by who. Who's to say $1.49 is the correct amount?

Dear Four Dogs,The full tilt poker Security department has recently concluded an extensive investigation and we have determined that some of your opponents were in violation of our site terms. We have permanently closed all of the offending accounts. In cases of proven cheating, 100% of the confiscated funds are returned to the players who were victimized. The reimbursement calculation is based on the number of tournaments or hands played against the offending players, and the amount won or lost against them.We have determined that you are entitled to a refund of $1.49 which will be placed in your account in the next 72 hours. For a number of reasons, we are unable to provide any other additional information regarding this case, including the players involved and the game type where it occurred. We thank you for your understanding in this regard. The vigilance of our players in reporting suspicious behavior is an important addition to our ongoing diligence against unethical conduct, and we carefully investigate every concern of suspicious activity. If you believe you have witnessed unfair play at our tables, please don't hesitate to contact us at security@fulltiltpoker.com. If there is any other way we can be of assistance, please let us know.Full Tilt Poker Security

It typically means you were screwed for a lot more than that as the cheaters typically manage to cash out most of their spoils before getting caught, but whatever pocket change they do manage to confiscate, they do redistribute to the other players.

Thats good to know Belgo, I got 4.50 returned to me by stars and the email said we cannot give you more information on this matter. I suppose its good that these people are being found but I have always wondered how they work out who gets what.

It probably is alot more. I can understand the sites having every reason to be tight lipped about this. Personally, if it's just a matter of somone using PokerTableRatings I'm fine with it. If it's collusion or worse I'd like a little more information so I can go over my hand histories and come to my own conclusion about how much or little I'm owed.

i think it would be better to play heads up, to avoid collusion. i am paranoid of site bots, but i have only experienced this possibility at fulltilt. I was up about $230 at tilt heads up, and then I faced an opponent that was unstoppable, almost as if he were run by the system, the bets were fast, and the flops and turns were also faster, it was weird. I quit playing there after that. He was more than a donk. I have noticed strange things in some sit n gos too. anyone else relate to this?

I vote for heads up too. This is my favourite way to play. It is scary how many programs are out there:eek:

Um elvis, I'm looking for info on a specific event. I'd rather not turn this into another RIGGED thread.

Thanks for the link Belgo.

If you're interested and have a bunch of time to lose, there's quite a bit of discussion about how sites refund players when colluders are caught in this 2+2 thread: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28/internet-poker/chinese-don-collusion-ring-stars-791760/

Worthwhile to notice that you'll get a much better deal when you're the one reporting the colluders than when someone else or the site discovers them.
When your playing , what a big clue as to" collusion" at the table your at?:withstupi

Soft playing and squeezes are the tools that colluders use. They will also chip dump to the short stack. It will be hard for fairly new players to see it, but with a good bit of experience, it becomes more and more obvious.
