re: Poker & My style of playing any suggestions?
I don't think 125 bucks is sufficient enough a bankroll to move up to the 1/2 tables. A good rule of thumb is to have over 200 times the big bet of the table you want to play as a constant bankroll. So for a 1/2 table, 400 dollars is about right. You have to be careful due to variance. Another good rule of thumb is to never stay in a game when you're losing for more than 30 big bets, that information is from Howard Lederer who know a thing or 2 about poker. When you stay in a game losing like that, chasing lost money, you not only play tilted, but you potentially ruin your table image. Be wary of moving up too fast. All pros started somewhere, and there is no shame in grinding out a game at a low limit as long as you're a winner. You could have just as easily lost that same 40 dollars in the same amount of time or faster.
