My auto-import HHs from FTP on PT is supposed to take hands from C-> Program Files-> full tilt poker-> HandHistory

My FT is saving HHs to that exact same location.
I fire timer and play at the same time and it won't import my hands.

Help?

does it give you an error, or is it just not importing?

Try the pt forums, they'll be of better help usually. They respond pretty quickly too.

I'm having the same problem (almost). It does import my HH but only some of it. I made this thread about it, but nobody responded. :(

Well it imports my Stars HHs, but for FTP ones it just says "No hand histories have been imported since..."

Not sure what that's about...post in PT's forum and you'll get a better answer than what I could provide.

...and if it does get resolved please let me know what the problem was because I've been having the same issue recently. I don't play on FT often enough to let it bother me too much, though.

Sorry for the basic question: Do the path you have specified in FTP and the path in PT's FTP import settings match? I believe FTP's default saved HH location is a folder named after your username. My FTP saves to a folder called "MrSticker" and I set my PT to read from the same folder.

Yes, they match, and both end in HandHistory. It seems that FTP is not actually saving my HHs into the specified folder despite the fact that I've chosen the option to do so. Any thoughts there?

Check that path for a folder named after your username. Full Tilt Poker might be overriding your settings and saving your HH's in that folder and not the one named "Hand History". Example: Mine saves to D:/Full Tilt Poker/HandHistory/MrSticker. I thought this was automatic from when I installed Full Tilt Poker 2 years ago.

If that folder doesn't exist, create it. Name it after your Full Tilt Poker username. Then point FTP to save there and PT to read there. That could eliminate any conflicts. Just a thought.

Still doesn't work Sticker.
I'll probably have to just wait and hope they patch it?

How about posting screenshots? One showing your Full Tilt Poker HH settings window and one showing your PT FTP import window. (or one showing both?)

Oh. You can do this by just stretching the import window wider to show the location you have. No need to click the button.

V,
Are you using PAHud as well? If so, it requires very specific configuration, which I think is different from the FT default (no username).
Make sure all three spots match:

I'm not using PAHUD (can't afford it ATM).
For some reason PT isn't letting me change the folder from which HHs are imported (it's stuck on C: Program Files: Full Tilt), and it won't change when I click on it.

Do you have Vista? I think Freak was having the same problems specifying folders with PT on his Vista machine.

I'm running everything as admin, and it still won't let me change the folder from which HHs are taken in PT.

Double check this. Select "Run as Admin" manually, just to make sure. FTP has to be running as Admin, also.
