STT's Luck or skill????
I have read about how some make a living or consistently good profits from this type of game. Lately I am on a break even streak. So I have been researching a lot.
I looked at the odds
of starting hands. The odds of possible flops with certain hands. After doing some comparing it is very likely you can go several games without anything playable. So if we do not chip up then we are in push/fold mode. The push/fold strategy is surely a chance situation.
With all that information have I come to the right conclusion that 9 man stt's are more based on luck than skill. I am sure that certain plays can be pulled off at certain levels to add more skill to it.
Is this why variance can be so high at this game? Am I finally starting to understand the concept of this particular game or am I missing something?
